If we dont improve the D we will be giving Houston a top 10 pick.
One thing that has absolutely killed is was the inability to get a PG in the last two drafts.
Yep, I'd go for Randolph, If Lee would agree to go to Golden State. Of course Lee's options are really drying up right now, I feel pretty bad for him- I mean what teams can still sign him outright?
I think the likes of Felton and Miller may end up going to Miami, so hopefully we won't have to worry about signing them to hefty contracts- I think with the larger than expected salary cap, and the fact that they can go over the cap to sign Wade, means that they have a good chunk of cap left to fill out their roster with overpaid, average talent, which will hopfully prevent us from doing likewise!
Without Lebron, PG is a huge problem for us (with Lebron, Tony Douglas is fine as you don't need as much from that position then) and I've no idea how we'd fill it aside from maybe trading for Tony Parker at the deadline. What screws us if Donnie decides to keep the cap space and wait until next year is the impending new CBA- I think all of the valuable FA will resign extensions well before the seasons finished, so really if there were no trades by the deadline, then the roster can't really be improved until the following season.
I'm hoping, hoping, hoping, that all this sudden Miami talk is just Lebron trying to cover up the Knicks leaks to try and keep people guessing so they tune into the ESPN special, in which case it's worked. We'll no soon enough...
