Over the first week of NBA free agency, we have seen more than a dozen agreements reached between players and teams. The below list represents who broke the news first in the media (typically on Twitter), at least from how we saw the race.

Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc J. Spears of Yahoo!, along with Marc Stein, Chad Ford and Chris Broussard of ESPN have each reported at least two signings.

Ray Allen: Stein (ESPN)
Steve Blake: John Canzano (95.5 FM)
Carlos Boozer: J.A. Adande (ESPN)
Chris Bosh: Broussard (ESPN)
Chris Duhon: Ford (ESPN)
Channing Frye: Wojnarowski (Yahoo)
Rudy Gay: Wojnarowski (Yahoo)
Drew Gooden: Wojnarowski (Yahoo)
Amir Johnson: Spears (Yahoo)
Joe Johnson: Sekou Smith (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
Darko Milicic: Ford (ESPN)
Dirk Nowitzki: Stein (ESPN)
Paul Pierce: Gary Washburn (Boston Globe)
John Salmons: Ford (ESPN)
Amar'e Stoudemire: Alan Hahn (Newsday)/David Aldridge (NBA.com)
Dwyane Wade: Broussard (ESPN)
Hakin Warrick: Spears (Yahoo)

Wojnarkowski and Fraud have the most...

I thought Wojo broke the Amare news too? He has been getting a lot of the info so far. Yahoo Sports turning into a powerhouse.

funny that wojo has been dismissing the knicks in every lebron column, but in a note about the nets just posted, he puts the knicks as a contender:

The Nets have $30 million in cap space, but aren’t under great pressure to use it all. They’re holding out a faint hope for LeBron James(notes), but with no running mate in New Jersey, James is destined to sign with Cleveland, Miami or New York.

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

Out of Wojo's 3, only Gay was big.

Bosh and Wade was Broussard. Allen and Nowitizki was Stein. Boozer was Adande. All ESPN.

The only big exception to ESPN was our boy Hahn for Stoudemire. The NY connection explains that. And Pierce with his Boston Globe connect.
