Fat Mike is right. Lebron should give out roses. Reality TV finally invaded my space.

Maybe LeBron's announcement is that he's retiring. It'd be the only fair way to disappoint every team equally, while not disrupting the balance of power.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

So sick of this. He will be hated in NY if he goes to Miami! Up until now he has been cheered in this city, at the garden and at Yankee games but that will change real fast. He better leave those Yankee hats at home.

Thx, those sites are standard, I just wasn't sure whether ATDHE streamed an event like this.

I'll be out drinking brews, smoking my gal Mary Jane and macking chicks until late. My worry is if I'll actually make it at 3 AM.

Great opening Nalod. They should open the show with this song. Loved the Chambers Bros - saw them in concert back when.

The Garden is soft... every star that saunters into the building gets cheered (at some level) during the starting lineups/good plays. I don't buy that Lebron will be hated here... certainly by die-hard fans, mind you, but guaranteed MSG will show him love. And that makes me sick.

Bro if lebron shows up on espn tonight and signs with the heat, he will be booed vociferously for the rest of his career at the garden.

Agreed! mythfaze, remember the 90's? Jordan, Pippen, Reggie Miller, Tim Hardaway, Alonzo Mourning and others were not cheered.

He'd be Booed in every city! As a fan, I want to see a good, competitive game. Not go to a game where the deck is stacked.

Meanwhile, yeah, I'll be watching this, for the off chance it's the Knicks, because then it suddenly becomes something you wished you had watched.

I hope so, believe me!

But I've lost my faith in the Garden fans over the past decade... each game I went to last season (about 10) there was cheering with no discrimination based on team. (The Nets games were the worst, as they often are... almost more noise for them than the Knicks. Also stomaching cheers for the Celtics was particularly difficult.)

Two sad differences about the 90s - (1) Rivalries actually existed and (2) We were a good team with a fan base that was very much invested.

Fans have been alienated over the past decade and if the Heat Dream Team actually comes to fruition (which would be a sad day for the NBA) I fear the Knicks won't be a good enough team to have a rivalry with that team.

But enough doom and gloom - I've still got hope!

And if Lebron goes to Miami, here's to hoping:
(1) We make the most intelligent, non-panicked moves possible for the rest of the off-season and
(2) For each other roster spot Dolan has a change of heart about thugs and signs the nastiest players he can find. Forget the "unlikely playoff" bonus - I want each of 'em to have incentives to leave any member of the heat bloody and on the floor each game

He is showing the logic of youth and a lack of education. He goes from "king" one of the three musketeers and loses his aura. He is a great individual talent who may win titles but they will be Heat title not Lebron titles. I would hope that Stern would give him a call and advise him that it is not in his best interest or the game's best interest to go to Miami. I would like to see him in a Knicks uniform but could could understand a decision for him to stay in Cleveland. Not "sour grapes" but a stacked deck is not something I would like to see. How many people enjoy sitting through blowouts. All that said-it is not a slam dunk that they will be a super team-injuries, refs calls will all factor in. This could really hurt the NBA.
