That is about right.

The guy can shoot the rock, no doubt. But besides game 2, his star didn't shine so much in the finals.

Averaging around 16 per game and probably would've been more on another team, would've thought a longer deal in the open market for MLE or the Celts would kick him in a little more.

Good for Ray Allen he looked finished in the NBA finals and for most of the playoffs .

Mark Spears saying 2yrs/20 mil. So that makes a lot more sense. I knew that was below market!

Celts 2-yr deal with Ray Allen for $20 million (2nd year player opt) coming soon. Allen has always said he wanted to stay a C. No MIA, CHI

he single-handedly won them game two of the nba finals. they made a decision not to break up their team. they are possibly the best defensive unit in the NBA since the 03-04 pistons. ray allen was a big part of kobe going 6-24 in game 7.

i think they're right to try for another year or two.
