Anybody listen to that Steve Kerr interview that occurred today? Two points that were put out there during this interview.

1) Lebron is not coming to the Knicks.
2) The way you build a team is by going to draft, getting a championship level player, and then complimenting the team with free agency.

If only the Knicks had thought of that ...

subzer0 left out all the context.

kerr said that he's always thought lebron would stay in cleveland but he doesn't know. he hopes so b/c it would be good for the league if he does.

what was worthy was what he said about amare. he said amare can handle ny and he's a "on the motion" pf meaning he's not a post up give him the ball and let him work type of guy. he likes to get the ball in motion so the knicks have to get a player that can deliver it to him in a similar manner like nash or there will be games where he may not produce at a high level.

Actually Steve Kerr said he would be "surprised" if Amare does not return with the Cavaliers. Hows that context for you? And why don't you tell everyone what Steve Kerr said about building a championship team? If I left "all" of the context out as you say, then set me straight. Tell everyone how Steve Kerr's statement differs from my point #2 djsunyc.

Just heard Cowherd say that the Knicks were looking into acquiring Anthony Parker of Cleveland as a PG.

He does not realize that the rumors have been about Tony Parker, who has supposedly indicated an interest in NY.

He does not realize that Anthony Parker is also a SG.

This coming from a douche that rode Jordan's balls to get a few rings, and failed miserably as a GM.

F Steve Kerr.

we did. We drafted Gallo. Then we paid to draft the ACC defensive player of the year and 20ppg scorer in Douglas (also quickest player in the draft). Kept drafted combo forward Chandler and added 5 time all star PF. Working on the MVP caliber wing player now. Keep you posted.

BTW... Fields and Rautins are going to look good on this team. But we will get to that when its time.

Mike as in Mike D'Antoni? Is that you? Do your feelings get hurt when Playa calls you damphoney?

I think he did fine as a GM. The Shaq trade was the owner. He hired the wrong coach and corrected it.

Robin Lopez is a nice player with a late pick and he fleeced Jordan for Richardson and Dudley, Channing Frye was also a nice pickup. Let's not **** on the guy because he stated the obvious with a couple of exceptions.

Larry, Magic, Isiah, Jordan, Hakeem, Duncan, Kobe, Wade those aren't free agents. The draft is the norm you need your franchise talent to build around. And very rarely do superstars switch teams they are usually traded for with draft picks like the celtics (rondo, perkins, pierce, al jefferson, west, #5 pick is how they got allen and garnett).

It's his opinion so it doesn't matter. The only person that's a real douche is Broussard.

Yea, thats exactly what I did nyk4ever, because it is obvious that when Steve Kerr said he would be "surprised" if Amare does not return with the cavs, he means Lebron will come to the Knicks. By the way I am still waiting for your response on point number 2. I need to know what context I left out there so I can correct my statement.
