Just watched Broussard on Mike and Mike...

Seems to think Knicks or Miami...possibly Cleveland or Chicago...long shot for NJ

Thinks Lebron might worry that Cleveland is not in a place to compete...

Of course, he seemed to be trying to give everyone hope...better ratings for tomorrow night!

it has to be new york or miami now... and i just can't imagine lebron going to "wade's team" i guess we'll see.

So Wade & Bosh, plus Beasley and Chalmers are still there, right? And then they need to sign, what, 8 other guys with the money they have left over. That should be an interesting job for Riles.

I am loving the Knicks odds for LBJ right now. I think we have to be the front runner.

This is great stuff, and those 2 teaming up are the best thing for us. LeBron has to see this thing as trying to overcoming that combination, and new york is the best place to do it with amare and gallo. If he stays in cleveland, fine, he can stay there knowing no legit stars like bosh would ever play in cleveland, and get deep into the playoffs every year but not win a title. The east is getting better and you have to make a statement, new york is the place for all of this.

Knicks are being sold as the dark horse in this race. This whole process has become sickening. I almost hope we don't get this guy. Almost.

I am looking at percentages like this.....

Cleveland-40%
Miami -40%
NY - 20%

It is HUGE news if he goes to Miami. He is holding the conference in Cleveland/Aaron....they get the edge.

I think this news is leaking out now because Bosh & Wade have heard from Lebron & he's not joining them in Miami. They may not know where he is going, but they know they are free to move on.

I may be wrong- but I think Lebron is down to Cleveland and NYC, and faced as he is with the Big, older 3 in Boston, Wade & Bosh in Miami and Orlando, he's got to consider that NY with Amare has more star power than Cleveland.

Here's what I think about LBJ potential destinations, for what it's worth :

- Cleveland : can't see him do a 1-hour special to say he's staying
- Nets : won't go there alone, all the other big FA are gone
- Clippers : never into consideration in my mind
- Heat : won't go there cause it's Wade team, and I think Wade and Bosh would have waited for him before announcing they'll play there
- Chicago : he could go there with Boozer, but I don't think he'll go there because of Jordan shadow, the legacy, and the owners who might not commit everything into his team

In the end, I think we have the best case : a great FA signee, the business opportunities, the possibility to become a basketball god if he wins in NY with one single title...

i am seriously trying to contain my happiness because honestly we all know what it's been like to root for this franchise - something always goes awry. but i seriously think we have the best shot right now, i mean honestly.
