i don't have enough brain cells left to remember people's identities just from their names. the only one i pick out is briggs b/c he's all caps and has all these strong opinions. everyone else im just like oh yeah, that guys name is familiar.

I really like that this site doesn't have avatars. I find them very distracting, especially the animated GIFs.

I might be okay with them if they were really small - maybe the size of a smiley or a little bigger so that they don't dominate the screen - and no animation. I hate the look of row after row of big ugly animated gifs.

avatars are hard to manage and really dont add anything but trouble for websites. No way we add them.
