warm weather, steady pay check, 4 more years of being an NBA player, life is good for Chris Duhon. Enjoy

4 years @ $3.75 mil.....a good fair deal for both sides. Duhon is experienced and is a good fit for a BACK-Up pg on a playoff team. Wow, he and Jamal are teamates again.

YESSSSSS. MDA will no longer be tempted to start this guy. I was so afraid they were going to bring him back and I would have to watch him play 25-30 minutes a game again. Forget Amare, this by far was our biggest FA move this summer. No Duhon = +10 wins.

I wish Duhon the best. He really did come into a tough spot considering what the team was transitioning from. It's not like he ha d a ton to work with

knew he would get more than a vet min... he's better than some end of the bench scrub like Bender & he was better than Spanish Coco Puffs.

Goodbye duhon I'll miss all the lovely migraines u gave me everytime I watched you slowly walk the ball up the court in a fast break offense, not to mention all the wonderful passes....you missed!! Lol

When i read that I just thought wow- but its probably a fair deal for a backup PG with his level of experience.

I'm just surprised because I think that was around the money that was being bandied about by Orlando for him a couple years ago.

Holy moley! With Du-Du gone, who is D'Antoni going to hand over a plethora of richly undeserved playing time to?

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

look, I don't want to make it sound like I want him to come back... but I don't have as much venom as most for him

4 years? Team Option?

Can't believe Orlando gave out this kind of deal.

Sorry, an undrafted Rookie would have better value.

Shocked!

Duhon always seemed like a nice guy, he was a third string point guard and D'antoni made him a starter because he hated Marbury and we had to save our money for 2010. I'm glad he found work cause the way D'antoni made him play all those minutes and exposed him I was sure he was gonna be out of the leauge.

Danphoney signed duhon for the same reason Orlando did. But at least Orlando realized he was a freakin backup NOT A STARTER

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

It will be interesting to see who is chosen to be the respected vet that communicates the coaches expectations for on the court and locker room behavior next year. I don't think it will be Amare, Chandler or Gallo.
