If we are a contender, Kurt Thomas deserves playing time. He can still play. He gives good defense and commits hard fouls. An old grizzled classy veteran that we need on this team.

I was being sarcastic. He has a lot more left in the tank than Bender and he would not be playing ahead of the eigth pick in the draft.

I wouldn't mind crazy eyes coming back for some veteran leadership and the guy is gonna be a coach one day I remember he was an assistant with Dallas when he was hurt for a while , he can only help the young guys instilling some defense and old school nastiness.

if Lebron signs here i can see that going down... i don't see him coming for a veteran's minimum tho... maybe a $2M deal or whatever's left of the cap after the capholds are factored in.

ironic tho, if that were to happen w/the MDA-Suns-Shaq-Amare history & all.

Kurt Thomas's defense consisted of taking offensive charges from the other team. Did we forget so soon all the times people would blow by him for the easy layups. Sorry no Kurt Thomas please. We only thought he had decent defense cause no one else on the team had any.
