and top 5 draft pick. Big smooth strong skilled and smart. I hate to say this but we are going to rue the day for taking Rautins with the pick before Stephenson. The emphasis on 3 pt shooting is limiting the thought process of the team.

By the way NJ vs Philly is on NBA.com in a few minutes

I think the thought process for taking Rautins was to try and turn him into a PG. They took a gamble with there 2nd rd pick to try and strike a gold with a 6'4 PG who could shoot lights out and run a Pick and Roll.

8-10 shooting and he is playing the point some. That draft is going to haunt the franchise for a long time. You can't usually say that about second round picks but the Knicks could have grabbed talented guys with upside and brought the seniors in for their summer league team. The character/maturity >than talent upside is not the way to build a team or draft in the second round.

The two best players I have seen today are Mullens and Stephenson--LS is the real deal I don't know if he can shoot but it didnt matter(heck it didnt matter for Tyreke or Magic Johnson for that matter)

Well the knock on us is we drafted Rautins as a system player and left better talent on the board--and this might just showcase that fact.

mullens looked decent, but I am just not sold on him yet... I hate I missed lance..

Summer league is the perfect forum for Stephenson. Selfish, low b-ball IQ, low IQ period, you only have to stay out of trouble for 2 weeks.

Nah, the entire Knicks scouting staff neglected all available research and passed on Lance Stephenson because they were friending new people on facebook.

Ben Jobe is one of the best evaluators of talent on the planet.

At least that's what espn and the post said right?

Stephenson showcased his game today. Very proud...kamala and D3 were impressed also.

Another note Patrick Ewing Jr played and was another standout

Keep thinking that. Lance will haunt the knicks for years. Can't wait till Pacers beat us with Granger/Lance as main scorers while Rautins/Fields are on bench wearing suits.

Not only is he a playground idiot, but he's not the athlete you think he is. He wont be able to finish at the rim, and can't shoot from any decent distance.
