In a 3 way, we could get Mayo and Greivis Vasquez while GS gets Lee and Memphis gets Monta !!

C = CURRY
PF = AMARE
SF = DANILO
SG = MAYO
PG = VASQUEZ

This is If LBJ doesn't come, also it gives us bargaining chips for Melo either at the trading deadline or next summer using Mayo / Curry ( expiring ), Chandler and picks.

Mayo's a great young player - although not necessarily the best D'Antoni player.

At best Curry will provide scoring punch off the bench for 20 mpg in certain matchups. To expect or really ask for anything more is foolish with his work ethic. But he should be capable of at least providing some scoring off the bench.

Eddy played 10 games in two seasons. Thats 10 out of 164 games!!!!

Last season he played 62 min in 7 games. Season before a whopping 12 min in 3 games.

Now your hoping he can go 20 min a game? And Im sure your hoping 70 games this season? give him 12 games due to injury and court dates?

74 min in Two seasons.

I gotta laugh too!

I hope im bloody wrong two and he can go 20 a game. I'll fear for his life, but hope he can bring it once again.

lets hope he can make a Jerome James kind of playoff run next season and get him a nice contract in China!

Its about trading him for Melo, not him starting or even being productive. Wow, more bone head thoughts.

If we are sign and trading Lee that likely means we don't have Lebron.

If we do this type of deal at a minimum we should get Mayo & Thabeet.

Thabeet can play the Robin Lopez type role --- either playing next to Amare or playing when he's on the bench.
We need a big defensive minded presense --- might as well get one in this deal.

I think that's a great idea. Mayo next to Lebron would be scary. Size, defense and a jumper. He proved he could fit in. That's a championship if they can get that move done with LBJ in the fold.

We arent going to get to rape Memphis for Mayo. They are keeping Thabeet especially considering Gasol can bolt next summer.
