If he is disabled physically or mentally government should take care of him and provide treatment and rehabilitation.
If he is OK so I cannot see any problem for him to go get some job.
The illegals who coming in bunches from Mexico without any shadow of any kind of skills take any job and can rent and looking good, plus managed to send money back home to the family.
It is understandable that when you get so high it is tuff to fall all the way down and then get back on your feet.
But there are people in much worst shape and they are fighting to the end. Some people just have no pride.

I posted this on realgm, very sad story... I used to go to the games and watch ray williams and michael richardson play in the backcourt, that was a fun backcourt to watch, and tough as nails.... I hope things turn out better for ray..

Wow! I read that a few days ago and was sad. That was some talented backcourt we had but dumb as nails. I wonder how his brother Gus faired. he won a title with Seattle n 79'. Less talented but was a great point guard.

Gus is doing just fine. Hes invested his money well. Hes also been in Mt Vernon doing things with the local boys and girls clubs.

Never really got to see these guys play but growing up in Mt Vernon they are legends

why cant his brother gus help him..his back court running mate michael ray richardson a former addict is doing better than ray..nba should give these guys free legal and financial advise
