and stuck with beasley who he hates..and started rumors about the knicks having a bad meeting with lebron..losing his boy wade to da bulls..couldnt have happened to a nicer guy.. i hope wade comminicates his leaving the heat via fax

I would still be absolutely shocked if Miami doesn't retain Wade AND add someone with him, but if he strikes out here you would have to consider this the worst offseason by a GM/President/Executive in the history of professional sports.

The Heat only have 2 players under contract - Beasley and Mario Chalmers = total of $5.8 mil. They need to add a lot of players if Wade signs elsewhere. Actually, they need to add a lot of players even if Wade signs with the Heat. He has to be waiting to see who else will sign with him in Miami. They do have room for 2 max + 1 almost max but then the rest will be rookies and veteran's minimum players. I think it will be hard for them to win with that.

I believe he pairs with Bosh in Miami or Chicago. If we get Amare and LeBron That's awesome. Amare and JoJo I dunno...but It would be two JJ's on the roster at a time by all reports and that might break the playoff curse. But good enough to run for titles? Not likely till the Curry card falls to rest here with a storybook comeback fit for Broadway plays...or as an expiring to add a missing piece in February. Maybe a shot blocking center. I don't see the Knicks not being relevant come Friday. Miami could be if Wade jumps.

Craptors closing down S&T talks is not a good sign. I really wanted Bosh to go to Houston.

It means Bosh to Maimi is still a possibility. Which in turn would mean Wade stays in Miami and we wont get a shot at him.

Oh yeah, and Riley wouldn't be gettig shut out in that scenario.
