If we lose to seattle with him coaching look for it to be a defensive disaster, if he wins a nd we play tuff defense for the rest of the yr I will give him credit. I give him 10 games to get this team to play good defense.

I think that Lenny Wilkens will turn out okay. I am really optimistic about this move.

I will go on the record and say that under Lenny, we'll win about 30 games the rest of the way. We will end the season with a record over .500 for the first time in three years.

We'll make the playoffs seeded between 4 and 6, and go deep in those playoffs. If we aquire that low post threat we need so badly, this will definitely happen. That's the one ingredient that we need to make this team a bona fide contender.

I am serious about this one, though. Watch how this team breaks outta the gate now that the Chaney drama is FINALLY over.

Also, the sooner that next move is made to bring in the low-post threat, the more realistic my prediction sounds. I am also basing that on the move being made in the next week or two.

I think the knicks will make a serious push for 5th place because I think they are better than those other teams. 4th place would be awesome with the home court advantage. I definitely think they can do as good as 25-17 the next 42 games. I don't know about 30 lol The important thing is that we finish the season at our strongest like we did in '99.

I would LOVE to see us lay the SMACK down on the damn Nets in the playoffs. Then we can all say that the FLUKE is OVER!!!

We need to add someone to handle offense/defense in the low blocks ASAP.

We are only 3 games out of being the 7th seed !!! Thats all !!! 6 games out of the 6th seed & 7 games out of home court advantage in the first round with a 4th seed !!!! We are talking about Boston ( just Pierce ), Philly ( injuries ), Milwaukee ( fake ), Toronto ( an injury away from falling apart ) and the Hornets ( which will be the heardest to leap frog ) !! Think about it for a sec, it can be done !!! all we have to do is win 6 more games then everyone on this list from here until the last game of the season !!! Head to head matchups will give up half of that !!

I will go on record and say the Knicks will make the playoffs this year - as far as wins are concerned I wont even guess but they will be playing in the postseason.

We should be able to catch Philly or Boston for the 8th, 7th being a slight possiblity. I'd love to play the Nets, too. It would be awesome to destroy them and abuse all the Nets fans for the entire year till the next seasn lol. As for records, the way the East has fluctuated recently, I have no clue as to what record will actually get us in, but I'm confident we are gonna be in. No way a team with so much talent and star power (Steph) stays out, its just bad for the league, look for refs to start callin for us lol.

I am watching the Lenny Wilkens press conference now, and Lenny just talked about the importance of defense and how he will make improvements in that area.
