Finally the moment is upon us. Soon there'll be no more guessing, we'll know what we got,
and we'll either be ecstatic, or kvetching for years.
The silver lining is that even if we miss out on a star like Chris Bosh, at least we can stop
looking at that grinning fool's face on the UK home page. No small consolation.

silver lining for me is that right now we are a blank slate. no horrible contracts (except our boy eddy)

i hope if we get shut out, they make smart and fiscally responsible decisions and we focus on building through the draft and right this ship the proper way.

honestly for me? It will be watching Walsh build a team and get players this coach. Walsh has ALWAYS built teams according to his coach's strength. From Larry Brown to Larry Bird to Isiah Thomas he's always worked w/ his coaches to get his kind of players and his teams have always been winning teams.

Its a clean roster and a clean slate, and while we have to give up our 2012 pick its always top 5 protected, so if we had a bad year and won the lottery we still do OK. No more Curry/Marbury type deals to haunt us

The "Silver Lining" for me is that regardless of who we get, Im still gonna drop 40 on whoever attempts to guard me in the next UK B-Ball game...(thats right even you Panos "Mr 0.7% body fat" & you too eVil Mr "I can chain smoke in btwn driving to the basket")

BTW, I think eVil can chain smoke WHILE driving to the basket. I've seen him do it.

Silver linings are all well and good, but us Knick fans always manage to focus on the cloud.

By "cloud" do you mean the fact that we've been one of the worse 9 teams in the league for the last 10 years,
and the time we were the second worst we gave away our pick, as well as other picks in **** trades?

Nope I mean, people on this forum continuously searching for and reporting negative stuff which in most cases isn't backed up by anything concrete.
