Oh boy. Briggs is quoting Joni Mitchell now. This is truly the makings of a great off season.

I have to think Ainage is calling because he has an angle--like David Lee for Ray Allen. what a nightmare that would be.

BTW, if the Knicks strike out on Lebron and Wade. I will be singing some James Ingram. "Just once"

Well he said he always like Lee and claims to have come close to drafting him in back in 05.

If they wanted a community pick, why don't they go after Renaldo Balkman?

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

A"Community Pick" would be a white player that's usually over hyped or taken sooner than expected in the draft whether he's American or International player, but he looks predominately like the PAID AUDIENCE that watches NBA games in the Arena's. The media usually gives him a pass on draft night if he's known in college or overseas to do one thing well if that. It's usually a reach pick to go after him, but the hype kind of gives fans a very optimistic point of view.

Playa2 uses the term for draft picks, but it would seem that Lee's success as a player, which culminated in an All-Star selection last year, keeps him from being a FA community pick.

I think Bahstan is perfect for D Lee, assuming he can't go to Utah.

Hmmm... Community pick... Is it like black player on Hockey team?

Could we do a S&T for Ray Allen and some draft picks? I'd sign Ray for three year at about 10 million per. He's a stop gap move, but he'd give us some short term stability at shooting guard. And of course the draft picks would be decent considering that Garnett will probably be shot next season and Pierce is on his last legs as well. Maybe we can get them to throw in Bradley.

We could have LeBron, Deron, Wade, Amare and Gasol, and Briggs will have his doomsday scenarios.

Finally some sensible Celtic analysis I can agree with.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
