then that would strip us with a team that is not good with the pieces we have. however, this is the ONE instance that a sign and trade with lee could work. he would be traded to a playoff contender where his services would be needed and the nuggets would get an all star. every side would be happy.

I don't see how Denver gives up Melo for anything the Knicks have. I think he would be great in NY but any package of Gallo, Chandler, Curry, Walker and summer league fodder doesn't get you Melo. I also don't think including Lee in the package gets you Melo.

we're not getting Carmelo Anthony in no sign & trade... jeez y'all think our assets are so damn valuable... first we're getting CP3, now we're getting Melo... we're gonna have to PAY people to take Curry's contract off our books, it's not something other teams are looking to acquire, so don't factor that into any considerations as a piece we can dangle in front of other GMs... & as far as Wilson Chandler goes, he is worth maybe a low lottery pick or mid 1st rounder at best... he's not getting us no premier star level talent in any trades on his own... & what future considerations? we don't even own the rights to our next 2 first round picks anymore... stop buggin' people, seriously.

No-was Melo any better than Gallo after his first year or even second. he has become a star player who would put a good team in contention. We are not yet a good team. S & T for Lee yes if he agrees to extension. gives us a 3 and 4 for a decade. I believe that Gallo has start potential.
