According to Bill Daughtry this will appear right on 34th street and 8th avenue! DIRECTLY NEAR MSG.

Jay-Z is more of a mascot for this team than actual owner..

My thing is... You've really gotta have BIG BALLS to post a Huge NETS Billboard directly across from the Garden... Where our Knicks play. I hope Mr. Dolan has his marketing team ready.. This dude Prokorov isn't playing games.

BY THE WAY.. I'LL NEVER ROOT FOR THE BUM AZZ NETS!!! This really pisses me off! Bump that organization.. and bump Jay- Z for co-signing this. He's a Knicks Fan!!! (at least so we thought, he's always in celebrity row) SMDH

Lol I hope this is a joke. This guy has zero NBA management experience and he puts Jay-z next to him in the picture ,what has Jay-z done for the Nets other than buy a minority share and suck up to Lebron James , this is same the Jay-Z who can be seen front row at MSG . I hope the Nets bomb out in free agency I will never be a Net fan even when they come to Brooklyn.

Anyone think the "same old Nets"?

Im long on the record for saying this guy is serious.

Respect is earned or taken. Knicks have not done either. Maybe its time for Dolan to stop phuching around.

I don't see a thing wrong with it. Its not personal......Its business!

Chaulk one up for the Russian. He just got points in my book.

How does a team that won 12 games have better talent then the knicks, or a team that lost 70 games.

Jay will be brought out of anything associated with NJN, It's just a matter of time...he has less then a 5% intrest in the franchise. He has a few mill invested and so far, he has lost more then he invested..Was he even at the DRAFT

Nothing wrong with this. LeBron was plastered all over the city in his Cavs uni. No big deal.

From a marketing perspective... dont get me wrong its GENIOUS; i get it!)!!!; I just have a problem with this primarily because the NETS OWNER IS CLEARLY ATTEMPTING TO STEAL AWAY KNICKS FANS, and has waged a war.. and seemingly we have NO COURSE FOR DEFENSE.. Knowing that Im gonna see it pretty frequently is even more disheartening as a Knicks fan

Everyone knows some fans are gonna become Nets fans its a given if you live in Brooklyn and they play next door to you eventually they will win people over in Brooklyn. I don't feel threatened by fans switching teams.

You knew the nets owner was serious when he picked up Avery Johnson.

I knew Dolan wasn't serious when he hired Mike Danphoney.

It's all about winning a chip real soon according to the Nets new owner who I believe said he wanted to win a chip in 5 yrs or atleast be playing for one.

NOW THAT'S COMITTMENT BROTHER, this billboard act ain't no joke....Duke is serious !

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

They also brought on Smitch(Sam Mitchell)(who will fight players if he has to) and are looking at Colangelo. Yeah I'd say they are taking a more definitive serious approach on matters although they won't get the big fish in Free Agency.

I'm a Knicks fan but I'm also a Jersey boy. I like the grown-ass man swagger the Nets are getting, after so many years of cotton candy & Sly Fox kid-centered entertainment. I think the competition is good. Remember, the Knicks are the ones who made the Nets pony up that loot and ditch Dr. J for area rights. We've had a 30 year head start in the NBA. So if the Nets are in Dolan's kitchen, good for them. Maybe this franchise will finally realize that they can't remain mediocre at best and just coast off of corporate patronage, tourists & suckers like us, flush with dollars from their cable monopoly.

Was it in a Cavs uni or was it with a Swoosh or some other brand mark?

Nets trying that..."trick get off me bish get off me"... swag like you said

Ultimately they may land a 2nd tier FA

I don't understand how Dolan didn't have some kind of veto of a net move to brooklyn. its one thing for them be be next door in jersey, another to be in the same city.

Interesting idea, just in the wrong boro at the wrong time. First, they need to win some games. Then, they have to move. I think it works in Brooklyn, not mid-town.
