Ok i'm not sure about a couple of things here that im about to write about, but sounded interesteing when I thought of it. can a trade be done involving curry and redd straight up( money added to get it done if necessary). they are both in the last years of their contracts, and both teams get a need filled. ( ny gets a shooter if redd is healthy and mil gets a center if bogut still needs rehab as rookies develop).
If YES than that can open up more doors for the team.. a useable player that fits into system, trade asset at deadline, bird rights, money off the books.
* I was reading something like if under cap teams can trade different saleries if it wont put team with the lower salery player over the cap. (not sure difference in salaries./think thats what wash and chi did with hinrich)
* If we plan it out well enough we could grab 2 fa's and get a servicable player/trade asset this summer????
not the best result we all wanted but better than what we got now.
*having another max contract (redd) to trade at deadline or to come off the books could help in team stratagy??
If NOT and ruins us getting 2 fa's then scratch that idea
THINKING OUT LOUD??
