I really don't see him as a max guy but it is being reported that Atlanta, NY, Chicago, and Dallas are all looking at giving him max money. He is truly blessed that his contract expired this offseason.

I wouldn't call him a max $ talent, but the Jon Koncak comp. is just silly & off base.

the koncak name brings us back to mothers day 1985 the 1st year of nba lottery..if the knicks didnt win this lottery they might have had koncak playing center for them instead of ewing..at least we had 15 years of good basketball..and if bernard king didnt get hurt 4/85 we'd probably have won a couple of champioships in this era

Lets lament on draft picks we would have taken if we didn't?

Ok? What great fun!

1985 conspiracy draft:

1 NYK Patrick Ewing Georgetown
2 IND Wayman Tisdale Oklahoma
3 LAC Benoit Benjamin Creighton
4 SEA Xavier McDaniel Wichita State
5 ATL Jon Koncak Southern Methodist
6 SAC Joe Kleine Arkansas
7 GSW Chris Mullin St. John's
8 DAL Detlef Schrempf Washington
9 CLE Charles Oakley Virginia Union
10 PHO Ed Pinckney Villanova
11 CHI Keith Lee Memphis State
12 WA1 Kenny Green Wake Forest
13 UTA Karl Malone Louisiana Tech
14 SAS Alfredrick Hughes Loyola (IL)
15 DEN Blair Rasmussen Oregon
16 DAL Bill Wennington St. John's
17 DAL Uwe Blab Indiana
18 DET Joe Dumars McNeese State
19 HOU Steve Harris Tulsa
20 BOS Sam Vincent Michigan State
21 PHI Terry Catledge South Alabama
22 MIL Jerry Reynolds Louisiana State
23 LAL A.C. Green Oregon State
24 POR Terry Porter Wisconsin-Stevens Point

I say we phuck it up and go "Joe Kleine"!! You had Koncak, Klein, Blair (witch) Rasmussen, Wnnington And Uwe (Phucking)Blab all in the same community draft!!!!!! WOW!

This is the truth. The beginning of the wrong draft choice starting with Kenny "Floor" Walker.

"We are playing a game. We are playing at not playing a game..."

Think about it-

All we've traded the last two years+ the major max contract. Thats almost as much as we gave up for Marbury. And IMHO, when we got him, Marbury was the better player.

We have to end up with a lot more than Joe Johnson.

Also I'm tired of players named JJ

Joe Johnson is going to be the Jon Koncak of this offseason
