The Knicks need to counter the perception that the other teams have better talent on their rosters by pointing out that the Nets and Bulls lack the necessary perimeter shooters (the weakest part of Derrick Rose 's dynamic game, for instance) that complement James' multifaceted skill set.

The Knicks already have three-point threat Danilo Gallinari and will add to that by targeting three of the league's best shooters - Ray Allen , Mike Miller and Kyle Korver - in free agency. The Knicks will argue that they can build a better supporting cast with their vast amount of cap space (with Bosh as a main man) and potentially also will have flexibility next summer to add more pieces via free agency once Eddy Curry 's contract expires.

If the Knicks don't get Lebron they need to figure out a way to better fit this roster to D'Antoni's playing style. While we don't know that will win a title yet at this point we do know that this can win 55-60 games in the NBA and that is where we need to be to at least be a contender. We do have the flexibility in the roster to do this.

The question is where are we gonna get that PG!

Didnt they just say Derrick Rose had the most efficient mid range game from the PG spot in pro basketball>

I give the ball to lebron and he'll be the greatest PG in history. He had PG skills. Great court vision, great outside shot. great passing ability.

I'd sell him on not being greater than micheal but greater then Oscar and Magic and let the rest take care of it.

Thibs can sell defense, riles can sell Spolestra then himself (riles is overrated in my opinon) but MDA ball is somthing lebron knows from Team USA and the man is in place.

I don't trust anyting Im reading. There are compelling reasons for him to come. We'll know soon enough!

Thibs as a head coach is an unknown. What concerns me is the conspicuous lack of rebounding. Somebody has got to get the ball.

Talking about the 3pt line. Rose is not going to spread any defenses at this point in his career. I would also like to see the difference between his catch and shoot % and his midrange shooting % off the dribble. He's a "flow" player, whose value and numbers will decrease if he is not the major ball handler on the team.

Mike Miller is a baller and I'd love to get him. Ray Allen will cost too much and I want no parts of Korver. Korver always manages to play great during contract years.

If Amare leaves Phoenix, what would possibly compel Nash to stay there. He LOVES NYC and lives here. He might take a buyout and play for peanuts in NY.

System, system, system. The Knicks need a real coach who works with his players and game plans for offense and defense for individual opponents. Running this 'system' is a convenient way to never have to prepare for anything, coach or adapt.

I don't think Riley is overrated. I think if Jax is gone he is the best coach in the league if he chooses to coach. He is a huge presence and an extremely motivated, intense guy. I remember hearing an interview with JVG spoke about what a presence Riley was. I wouldn't discount him. He has been very aggresive in his effort to put the Heat in a position to be players in free agency.

Anyone know if Peja's alive? lol I think he has an opt out, but he'd be stupid to take it.

at least we can still sign Jonathan Bender... someone get Anthony Roberson's agent on the phone too... we need as many shooters as we can get our hands on.
