so far so good...
marbury and penny (big ups!) have not only put up fairly good numbers so far, (and better each game) but are both playing with a sense of determination and zeal which should ulimately be a rejuvination on the 2004 season for our beloved knickerbockers.

meanwhile in phoenix...

antonio mcydess has 7 points, 7 fouls and 9 rebounds in four games with the suns.

eisley has done a little better shooting 8 for 35 (a fantastic 22%).

ward is in san antonio and lampe is on the ir.

let's just hope the suns use our draft picks on players who invoke memories of "nervous" pervis ellison and rumeal robinson.

let's just keep our fingers crossed! remember we're all in this together.

love for yinka dare!!!!

Funny how the Suns Colangelo (sp?) was raving about stealing Lampe and he goes right to the IR.

yea that is odd, and one note is that the knicks do have 2 second round picks in a deep but not exciting draft, I mean the talent level is pretty even, there are no Carmello's or Lebrons in this draft, the knicks can easily package those 2 second rounders for a mid to late first round pick, but like I said before I love this trade.. Getting marbury..

Lampe is good but he is out of his mind if he thinks he stole him. Lampe has atleast 5 yeaqrs before he can become a Franchise player (And thats if he becomes a franchise player). We got Marbury and a backup SG. We gotta live with the contracts but thats allrite cause we were never gettiong under the cap with H2O, DICE and KVH anyway.

The thing that bothers me the most about this is that I don't have a single McDyess memory. Not one thing I can remember. Dice was like a bad dream I had.

I have no problem with trading Dice. Got to correct a mistake and move on. In fairness, he still has a ways to go, and he might just make it back. But Dolan needs to win NOW.

I guess this is the kind of trade that very wealthy teams can do only.

It took Jermain 7 years to average over 20pts per game. Lampe is years away from becoming a very good player.

Milos can surprise people. That can bite us in a year or two.

The key is not to have given a Lotto pick. This trade was to get us to playoffs this year! I don't expect greatness this year, but this trade was to move us up quickly, and contend next year. Thats the bill of goods they sold us 3 weeks ago.

I have been a strong Milos supporter. I have seen a few games where he played and I have read what European scouts are saying about him. He is good but he will probably be just as good as slower Nick Van Excel who does not play defense. He isn't soft but he is lazy defender and he is quick but not as quick as the yound Nick Van Excel and not even close to being as quick as Stephon Marbury.

It might annoy us a little that Milos is that good but he would've not come to New York for atleast another 2 years.

I was thinking under the thomas regime, he might have come.

With Steph at the point, might have been a natural 2? His assist ratios are not playmaking numbers.

Stephs are artificial cuz he always has the ball. Steph needs to learn how to be effective without the ball. might save those ankles.
