Well fellas,

According to sources, He's being targeted by NJ/Bkyln Nets.

He's a big name and don't forget did orchestrate that USA basketball team that won the gold Medal. He's director of USA Basketball.

I would've preferred him over Donnie Walsh to be the Knicks Pres/GM. A well known figure!

I believe even if Knicks ever tried, he would not want to work for an idiot of an owner.

The Nets have had an amazing Gm and have been well run since Thorn got there. Signing Colangelo just means they don't take a step back in my opinion.

Colangelo was the managing partner of the suns. He hired his son to be gm. He and his son hired MDA. What that says depends on if you hating on MDA or not.

LOL. Exactly. MDA would still be here with Colangelo.

I don't think Jerry Colangelo takes over as Pres/GM of the Nets without having a share in ownership.

The Nets have been run properly for some time. The problem is they are still THE NETS.

Any player given a choice to play for the Knicks or Nets will choose the Knicks. If they have the choice.

I mean, this is the same as the Mets Yanks. Any player who has his choice will choose the Yanks and never even consider the Mets.

So I don't worry about the Nets in that capacity. However I do like how they have set up their front office. From the charismatic Russian to Thorn and now to targeting Jerry. However, it's just that, Targeting. Until Jerry leaves Arizona again it's media dribble.

Hate to tell ya but thats starting to slowly change.. Knicks have an incompetent owner who's driven the organization to rock bottom over past 10 yrs. Thats a long time! Nets seemed to be headed toward becoming a global recognition for sports. They have a owner who will make sure it happens and a hip hop guru that will back it up. This will not be the same nets in 2 yrs. thye'll changed the name along with the location.

Only thing knicks now have for themselves is playing in NYC. thats it! The culture is changed for the once proud storied franchise knicks. thats whta usually happens when you have a corporation running a sports team.

The Future. GO KNICKS!

I don't know fellas. I'm still inclined to believe that the Nets are still second fiddle and always will be to the Knicks. Just as the Jets are to the Giants and the Mets to the Yanks.

The Knicks are on cracking ice right now. The Nets will replace them in a heartbeat if they get Lebron.

It's all about winning. Half the city just roots for a winner. Lebron means something to a lot of young kids as does Jay-Z. A sexy owner a new arena, BK, don't discount just how far all that can take you. Especially if the Knicks get JJ. They are practically irrelevant now.

There are a lot of upset people that have watched the team they loved turn into a disgrace. Isiah turned off a lot of people and the arrogance of Dolan has sent a lot of old timers away. Our drafting and the guys the knicks have brought in like Marbury, Francis, Curry has fostered intense hatred.

They better not F this up or they will lose the title of dominant city team.
