I think James is going to fart around and wishy washy and soak up lots of attention because thats the kind of whore he is. I think Bosh is a target we could secure quickly. We can offer him more than most teams with that extra $1mm improbable bonus we can give him.

Once you have Bosh in the mix suddenly the team you offer Lebron looks a bit better. Gallo, Douglas, Chandler, Bosh, Walker... its a solid group for James to join. Plus you have fatso's expiring deal to add help with mid season and a good trade guy in Walsh.

If Lebron goes elsewhere you bring Lee back and you have a bunch of good wing players and shooter in Gallo, Chandler, Douglas, Rautins and Fields to put around a pair of all star frontcourt players in Bosh and Lee with a great offensive coach.

I would say thats a good start to building something.

I agree. Bosh is the absolute key.

And I think the playoff bonus can be as much as $4M and there can be a separate bonus for winning the division and the conference title. Once he signs, those bonuses won't count against the cap.

Bosh is a must.

And if we strike out on James, I have no problem bringing back Lee and trying to bolster the back court with the leftover money.

I don't think anything walsh gave up is that critical as you can always undo it when you got cap space.

Fact is the knicks could come up empty on the starphuch scale which is ok by me too.

In this market you can get also get players cheap.

Celtics and lakers have won over 60% of the chips. Its ain't easy.

I don't even know if its worth it to go after Lebron. I'd look to add Bosh, bring back Lee on the most economical deal possible, and then go after 2-3 really good pieces- like a Mike Miller.

The way Lebron & co has run his FA, I don't think he is really serious about basketball.

That's ok.

I agree. Bosh makes the most sense anyway, because the top two plans are Bosh + LeBron and Bosh + Wade. Even though Wade is a big longshot, we still can acknowledge the common piece is Bosh. If we don't get LeBron or Wade, my dream is Bosh + Lee + Carmelo (in 2011 or via trade).
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Bosh has hitched his wagon to Lebron... i doubt he signs anywhere til he knows where Lebron goes first.

Not sure I want either of those dbags. Taking Bosh and his my play tails off after 50 games is tough enough. Adding Caldersissy or Horseglu is tough. Get Bosh here for a $100mm first. Keep Curry.

I guess if its a must I take Hedo. He would be very good and probably very happy in pringles offense

Lee would have to agree to go play in TOR for that to happen... not happening.

I don't like this Chris Bosh/David Lee idea. It's just too soft defensively. But I agree we really need to make a strong pitch to Bosh. Building a team around a 7', 26 year old 24/12/1 frontcourt player makes it much easier. I would also try to make something work between Lee and San Antonio for Tony Parker. I would also call Detroit and inquire about Rip Hamilton. I like the idea of having Bosh in the frontcourt with Parker and Rip in the backcourt with Gallo on the wing.

So you want us to become the American version of the Raptors. Nice.

Agreed. Lebron is the first Domino in the FA market. Bosh has indicated in numerous clips that I've read or heard that he will wait and see what Lebron does.

I think lebron is probably the best player in the league.. but I have grown tired of his need for attention and this whole lebron thing... Honestly, if he doesn't chose us.. "F" him... We have one of the best cities in the world, good young talent, good coach, and cap room.. plus he can really make his imprint on this city like no other athlete has... if he can't handle that.. then screw him.... if bosh and wade came and said we both will sign with NY, I would give lebron 48 hours to make up his mind..

Corrected. If Wade and Bosh agree, done. Sold. No need to be greedy.

I'd give LeBron 1 hour.
