Are absolute legends of sport. Complete and utterly unbelievable superhuman people. In can yu don't know the score between them at Wimbledon currently is 2-2 sets and 56-56 in the 5th. All records are broken. Most aces (both) longest match. The 5th set is longer than any other match in history. The 5th set is currently longer then it took Serena Williams to win the entire Wimbledon.

Just, wow.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?

OH!! I am way behind, I thought ESPN was showing it live. But of course doesn't make sense based on time zones, now that I think about it.

But what an absolutely crazy game. How can these guys still walk? leave alone keep going at this level. Once in a lifetime opportunity to see something like this.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

shame that tennis has turned into a who can serve better competition. they need to go back to the old racquets.

This is like if Vanderbuilt played a 8-OT game against Loyola in the first round of the tourney.

I don't really see the big deal. These aren't the games greats.

You could take two guys who never played tennis, as long as they're evenly matched, it could take a while for one to win by 2.

What the hell am i supposed to be impressed with?

Over 11 hours two dudes playing. Eddy plays 10 games in two years, these guys played 11 hours over 3 days, but they played 7 hours yesterday.

You don't have to be impressed, but the rest of the sporting world is.

Its like soccer, some don't care, but a lot do.

YOur not impressed thats one thing, but I am not impressed with your analogy either.

I found the ending of Isner/Mahut satisfying, but wish they had answered more questions.

It was a first round matchup between two unknowns.

Sorry, that's not impressive. Thats scrubs who can't find a return game.

Just cuz it takes a long time to determine the outcome of an event doesn't make it a great event.

We've been "sportscentered"

Grand slam winners play over two weeks 210-220 Games enroute to winning.

These cats played 185.

As marathons go, it was was epic.

As far as it being a great tennis match NOBODY said as it was.

From a mental concetration standopoint, it was outstanding display of it. If you understand that the french dude was facing defeat 65 times!!!

I know its cute to be all trying to be funny like dudes say how boring soccer is or low scoring Hockey is but there are thngs that happens that should be appreciated for what they are. The Tennis match created a buzz. It was an event than never even came close to happening before.

Maybe its been overhyped, but what in the hell is not.

Lebron passes wind its a major story.

I'm not bashing soccer or hockey. I appreciate soccer very much. I'm not a hockey fan but i never said anything bad about it.

I just think Tennis has changed from 20-25 years ago. I used to watch every slam. Nowadays the rage is tall players with booming serves using hi-tech racquets designed to get the most juice out of their serves. So what has happened to the sport as the court dimensions have stayed the same while the players have gotten bigger and using more powerful equipment? We've lost the beauty of the long rally. We aren't seeing opponents break serve. If each player holds serve and the match must be won by two games, its possible for these long matches to happen. Something like this wouldn't have happened against an Agassi or a Connors. Those guys could return serve. Then again, they never really had to play against serving machines like Isner.

Yeah i applaud their stamina. Not much else to say.

How many tennis players ever get the opportunity to play at Wimbledon? I completely disagree with your take on this match in the sense that both players could have thrown in the towel and just accepted defeat. So for me I don't care if this Roger Federer vs Rafael Nadal or Joe Schomoe vs Joe Schomoe 2 it' still an achievement. Matches like this reminds the rest of us why we're sitting in front of a computer and not smashing a ball at Wimbledon.

If its about Stamina, i'll go with a 12 round boxing match. Watching that much tennis is absurd. Y'all aint tennis FANS are you? Did anyone here watch the match, the whole thing? Man up! Y'all just repeating what they told you on sportcenter.
