The bottom line is it does take big players longer to develop and perhaps Whiteside is being discounted for what can you do for me today and not being finished physically with honed skills but I think this is the same thing--this is a top 5 talent and if for some reason he really does slip to where he is projected as of today--I don't care if we have fallen in love with a player or have Ok4 in our back pocket--this is the type of pick that will HELP ensure success LONG range--wait until this kid puts on 20 pounds adds base and upper body strength and hones his skills down. a Monster. I never really thought about Whiteside because I didnt think there was a chance in hll we could get him but I urge URGE the Knicks--if they can get this player DO IT!!!!!
Lets be honest BRIGGS the amount of time it to Blatche to become good he would have been run out of time by that time in NY. Just like everyone wants to pay for Chandlers cab fare to the airport. Chandler has potential to be very good.
he would have been run out of town, brought back and run out a 2nd time.
