Warriors rid themselves of an albatross contract while the Bucks get a player to help solidify depth.

I doubt it--they are using the technique of bringing back players using ending contracts--but these contracts are not albatrosses. How can anyone argue with this deal???? GS wanted to get rid of the player and Milwaukee got a good player for nothing. Works both ways. Milwaukee is they can get a 4 should be real good.

I am confused by the hate for Maggette. He maybe slightly overpaid but the guy produces and doesn't complain and never gets into trouble. Golden State is in cost cutting mode because Bell and Gadzuric are PURE garbage and werent even in the rotation last year during the 2nd half of the season. Plus Bell isnt even an expiring deal.

Bucks are looking like a lock to make the playoffs if Bogut gets healthy.

Golden State would have probably given us a nice piece if we traded Curry(Expiring) and Chandler for Maggette.

Maggette is better than Salmons. Salmons has a nice run but the guy isnt that good. Chicago learned that this year.

Both players are take or leave it players. Anibus favors anything he thinks gives his boy Jennings help but doesn't steal shine. Salmons stole a little too much of Jennings shine and he didn't care too much for it.

The guy is solid. He produces wherever he goes and gets to the line. He doesnt jack shots either. I give props to guys who are consistent and dont dog it. Guy played hard for Golden State even though they were going nowhere. He also doesnt just show up for contract years. Is he perfect? No, but he is an above average SG/SF.

Salmons tried to dribble too much. Jennings is the man on that team. Young guys need to shine.

Why do people keep saying stuff like this? Nothing is happening on the Knicks front, because the Knicks are going to waste 0 cap room until we know what free agents are signing here. Making drastic changes to the roster now and potentially not getting LeBron or Wade would be a disaster. Our GM is doing plenty by not overreacting to nothing.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The Bucks were 4 games under when he came over- 10 games over by the last game of the regular season. They were 22-8 with him on the team during the regular season.

You can't deny how Salmon's turned the Bucks season around... although I am sure you will try.

He helped get Chicago to the playoff the year before too. The point is Maggette is an upgrade over Salmons. Salmons seems to play well after being traded. Maggette is going to give you 20 pts a night. No more no less. The Bucks needed CONSISTENCY from the wing scorers. Delfino and Ersan were not supplying consistent offense night in night out.

Maggette is a good player but he is overpaid. He is not a bad player because he is overpaid. He will do well with the Bucks.

Magz was pretty garbage and a black hole player before somewhat resurrecting himself in GSW. We all know the system Nelli runs is gimmicky. The only thing Magz has going for himself is bulldozing over dudes and getting to the line. He sucks for the most part. You're really trumping him up more than necessary because of an affinity you have for the Bucks. They could have traded for Jerome James and you'd spin it somehow.

The trade assuming they let Salmons go in Free Agency is addition by subtraction

The nets just gave the bucks CDR for a second round pick. They are making some sneaky moves to get better. I like both deals for them.

Wow, I love CDR. I wish the Knicks gave up one their picks to get him. He already has shown that he is an NBA player. Nets must be locked in on Wesley Johnson.

Yeah solid move here picking up CDR. Hammonds is proving to be one of the quick thinking GM's. Gotta think outside the box to get things accomplished.
