When Frank is on the court with Starbury everybody is so concerned with marbury taking them off the dribble or with his jump shot, that when the ball swings around after the defense rotates it actually gives Frank the ability to go one on one and who can keep him out the paint? When the ball swings his way he catches the defense off guard from concentrating on Marbury. Just playing along Starbury oozes confidence out of Frank Williams and reminds him of playing ball in the playgrounds in Chicago. He can get to the rack with the best of them to either dish the rock or score. 3 pt shot is getting better too. I wonder What it must be like watching knicks at practice, Frank and marbury. oohhh babyy

I would rather see Houston out there slong side Starbury. The idea of Frank when H20 needs a rest is ok. It would be even better if it was Spree and Marbury but I guess I can deal with KVH and H20.

Don't remember if it was one of the beat writers or MSG announcers but someone mentioned a 3 guard rotation of Marbury, FWill, Houston and semi-compared it to the Detroit Bad Boy rotation of Thomas, Dumars and Vinnie.

I would like to see the Knicks use FWill and Penny at the 1 and 2 off the bench, and have Penny at the SF too.

That is what I'm talking about man, when Houston gets in foul trouble aND FRANK COMES OFF THE BENCH we actually have a threat who can handle the rock man...for the knicks a guy who can dribble and score is a "THREAT"

all this (good) is possible because of Marbury. Having him and Frank in a 3 guard alignment will be great in the East, but its all possible because of Marbury's D. Did anyone notice how when Stephon got stuck on Dirk or Walker on a switch neither got off good shots? Stephon is a pure bulldog. Strong and tough and that allows you to do more because you dont have to worry about a 6'2 getting posted and toasted everytime down the floor if you go small.

Dont trade Frank... he's going to be VERY important. Look at the Nets and how much they flounder if Kidd doesnt play 45 minutes. Frank is perfect for a Bobby Jackson role and can get more minutes as he matures.

All this team needs is an athletic 5... The guy I think is perfect is Chris Anderson. I would avoid Ratliff because I like how KVH fits with this group.

Ratliff is injury prone - Swift looks pretty nice, he wont win you a championship though but he will have this team playing some exciting ball. I think our biggest liabilities are now the 4 and the 5. I can live with KT but Deke is old and slow, we have a team that can run now so get a 5 who can help us acheive that.

I agree with the Fwill comments, dont trade him - unless there is an impact player to be had. Otherwise he is a valuable asset to this team and should get playing time. I am not a fan of Moochie Norris.

F Will can play...we know that now. 7 points in 7 minutes last night and a great threat to drive the lane. I wish he played more. But how do you find the time for him when Houston and Marbury are playing 40 minutes, and when Shandon and Penny are playing at SG as well? Fact is, no one is trading for Shandon/Penny so they are going to be here. I'd love to see FWill play at their expense, but I don't know if he'll ever get the time here that say, Bobby Jackson gets in SAC. It's a shame too, because FWill is a top notch defensive guard, and would've helped contain Nash last night in OT. Marbury has a ton of game, but I don't know if he's better than just an average one on one defender.

Good point desai, Frank makes us even more potent when on the court.

Realize it now or later, we have one of the best backcourts in the game. Its only a matter of time of executing the options. No upgrades needed no trades welcomed.

Get with the program, the bad boy era has passed....lets try NYK as home of "THE GOOD GUYS"

neah!!! i consider myself a nice guy , but on the court i don't view myself as a "good guy". soory, can't agree w/that one. i do agree with "no trades welcomed" though. plz keep frank. not only does he deserve it due to the fact that he worked for it, but if anything happens w/steph, who's gonna start? moochie? frank is nice and will only get better. coach rivers can even play steph at the 2 at times if he really wants to run. line-up/ 1.frank 2.steph 3.penny 4.kvh 5.kurt. did i say rivers? oops.

I dont understand why Fwill doesn't get minutes!? Other than the 4 game stretch where Chaney was forced to start Fwill, the guy nver gets much playing time! I still cannot believe he played Eisley over Fwill all those games!
