The Timberwolves are offering the Pacers Jonny Flynn and the 16th and 23rd picks for a package that includes Indiana's 10th pick.

So much for all that talk that they were going to have to give up on Rubio. Looks like they have him on schedule to come in and it works for them. BTW, I wouldn't do it if I was Bird. Flynn is T.J. Ford lite and Wagner more. On draft night it all looks so wonderful until these guys have to suit up and play in the NBA.

When you have known NBA talent you better make damn sure that you are going trade to get pieces you know that can actually play in the league first.

Johnny Flynn played in the triangle offense as a rookie, even though the offense doesn't need that kind of pg. He only showed glimpse of what he will do in the NBA. I will go on record and say if Flynn gets traded goes to a team with a traditional offense he well show why he was taken that high. What rookie pg will stay consistent being a tradtional pg in a triangle offense ???

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Good point, but they better change from the triangle if they think Rubio is going to come. What potentially great pg would want to play in the triangle?
I haven't been impressed with Flynn, but the triangle could be hiding his skills. That said, I would not do the trade.
