Just got my computer back from being repaired (multiple issues - mostly Windows Vista related). Thank God I elected to purchase the additional warranty at the time or else I would've been up the creek w/o a paddle with this friggin' thing a few times now -- the last time I had to send the thing back to these guys (Velocity Micro) the liquid cooling pump failed and ruined the graphics card somehow (liquid cooling is caca btw, waste of time imho -- just stick to regular fans in your system and get a lot of 'em)....Anyway, the keyboard and mouse that came with the system bit the dust a long time ago - was working with an old Logitech mouse and Logitech internet keyboard and now those are about to go on me....Just bought a cheap Logitech optical mouse and keyboard for about $15 bucks apiece just to get back up and running (they'll be good backups to keep in the closet once I get better options). Now I'm reserching mice & keyboards and I'm curious what you guys think are the best out there right now...Keyboards don't mean as much to me (I might just stick with the basic Logitech K120 I bought today) but on occasion I like to play some Call of Duty WaW or some Age of Mythology and I'd like a decent gaming mouse. Definitely looking to stay with a wired mouse with a cord (I can't be bothered swapping batteries in and out or charging a mouse in some cradle) and probably upgrading to laser over optical...Looks like Logitech's G5 was a real good one with a lot of buttons..It even has these little weights you can add or subtract to get the feel just right but it's a few years old and they don't make it anymore..They put out a G500 now that doesn't look to be as good...Checked the net for prices on a new G5 and it's pretty steep for an older model, I guess because they don't make it anymore -- looks like some dude is selling a new one on E-bay for about $79 - that's the best price I've come across so far (not interested in buying anything used). I'm thinking about throwing in a bid for about $30 bucks or so and see where it goes..Any suggestions on anything else? What are you guys using? Thanks in advance fellas..

if u do alot of gaming u might wanna check out Razr mouses (mice?). they are specially calibrated for speed and precision that games require. a little sensitive for normal browsing use but if u set ur mouse settings to low theyre ok for everyday use. only bad part is they're a little noisy clicking, but they look cool and are very fast and durable. ive been using my Razr for years and it's still going strong.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Thanks bro -- I'll look into those.
