The logo is cool and retro. But the jersey is just...bad. Trying to modernize a retro look. Just go back to the 1966-1971 jerseys and forget about these here.

You know they can't do that- certain folks have to be making some nice money in the designing of this thing, and the ownership is not going to pay for a simple copy of an old design.

Being called "The City" in the 1966-71 version was also pretty cool, to be honest. Now they are not even identified with a city as far as their name goes.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

That Jazz logo is terrible... gosh I hope the Knicks don't screw their next logo / jerseys, that's the last thing we can be proud of !

I like them better than what they had.

Teams do big studies to check the acceptance factor.

I think "The City" was cool but would not be everyday and would get tired. THis is a link and should do well.

Their "golden era" was 1975 when they won their championship. Their logo is really defined by having the number INSIDE the logo. They are going back to that, and its unique. So in a sense, they capture a defined look that is unique to them.

They should go back to the run TMC uniforms. Those were awesome, i loved those. Back before I hated Tim Hardaway and he was just a fun player to watch on a non rival

PMS -- Ha! I thought you were referring to a bunch of dudes whining about clothes.

PMS stands for Pantone Matching System, a way that designers & printers can specify particular color mixes.

I like that they dropped the orange & the Rocketeer and returned to the bridge imagery & blue-n-yellow, but I don't quite like the execution. The font's played out and it just seems a little too "art school". Maybe the away jerseys will be better, and maybe in real life it will look better than the mockup.
