i think SAC def wanted to move long term salary and I KNOW Nocioni was unhappy over there and has been asking for a trade for a while now.

I value Spencer Hawes pretty highly as a young PF/C. I would have thought that Nocioni had enough talent to pull in an expiring contract on its own. The skill set of Dalembert doesn't impress me enough to give up Hawes. I think that too many people overvalue the Dikembe Mutumbo model center. Then again, I thought the Knicks would make the playoffs this past year.

Noch is a tough hard nosed player who got overpaid. When healthy he gives you everything you want in that type of player. No problem with Noch beyond being overpaid and recently a bit hobbled.

Dalembert....well, Philly fans call him Stupid Sam for a reason. Dude's dumb as dirt. Met him once at a Harley Davidson in Long Branch, NJ. I said to him "Sammy D blocking shots in the Garden? Could be a good thing!" He just laughed and moved on.

Why would you... I mean why would your assumption from him laughing conclude that he is dumb? If I was in his position and someone out of the blue said something like that to me, I would probably laugh too and do the crazy sign when your back was turned.

if Sacramento can put together a trade for Tayshun Prince as rumored, they're looking pretty solid...
