well, even though last night was a disappointment, that last play in regulation for the knicks was incredible ( and should be the number 1 on the list of top ten plays on sportcenter but they hate the knicks anyway). the good thing is that marbury had officially arrived. he brought us back from a 20 point deficit with crisp passing and timely scoring. he must play with the same energy throughout our homestand, which means not losing for the rest of the week. we need to kick it in high gear if the playoffs are going to be a possibility. i am starting to agree with the notion of not changing coaches or anything until the summer. this is a good enough team to make a run. remember, the hard part of our schedule had already past. november and december were brutal schedule-wise. so if the team is the same, we should make the playoffs. the rest of the week will determine if it is a reliable assessment or not.

Are you kiddin? Not chaning coaches? Did you actually watch the game? Chaney blew it. His decisions is what cost us the game. He made them play zone for 3 quarters despite it obviosly not working. And that's just the glaring error. He has made a million more in every game. Chaney has to go for us to get anywhere close to .500.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Man listen- Chaney gotta go.

How many games does he have to blow (in ANY given quarter) to know that?

Especially when Zeke has a gun to his head as it is, the cat just continues to fumble and flop with decisions.

Where are his emotions? Did he ever give a damn in the first place?

If we wanted a Vulcan on the bench, we could have signed Mr. Spock for less money. He'd have a better chance at getting us to .500 than Chaney does. We forgot what .500 even smells like since Chaney got here. He's had his chances and is STILL screwing up, even with his azz on the line. Having trouble seeing what his latest ones were?

* He played a zone against one of the best shooting teams in the NBA until we were down 20 points. WTF??

* He stood around with that same ol' Grady face on for 10 seconds at the END of the friggin' game, instead of just telling Allan to foul Finley. That was NOT Allan's fault, that is the responsibility of the Coach.

Those were his latest mistakes. He's been given a pass after using every excuse in the book. The buck stops here.

CHANEY GOTTA GO.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

hey, i am not a chaney fan but what coach can come in and turn things drastically around? whose to say that if malone is interim that he will energize this group. look, i agree that chaney needs to go but it must be REAL soon ( as in today or tomorrow) or sit pat. there is no way we can get an outside coach at this point becuase it will be MAJOR adjusting.

Everybody can't wait for Chaney's replacement. Just remember this: Riley faxed his notice, and the other guy quit....everybody thought that was cool.

Chaney is making sure there is not a trend. So hurry up and fire him before he changes his mind

Oh no... Chaney would get props for quitting. It is =more noble than begging to keep his job. At least he can have the dignity going out the door, that he didn't earn while he was here.

The biggest glaring error is that Chaney fails to motivate his team. It was Marbury who motivated the Knicks last game not Chaney. Chaney installs no confidence in his own guys. Chaney may know some x's and o's but he doesntn know players.

One thing is this, the players were playing on egg shells ever since Zeke came and picked up starbury 1-3 record doesn't lie.
