What can us fans do to recruit Lebron?

Imagine the garden full to the rafters with screaming fans chanting Lebron's name...or a sea of placard-carrying fans outside MSG...or tickertape fluttering down all aroudn the Garden...anyone have connections to make this kind of thing happen? As a long-time and long-frustrated Knicks fan, I'd certainly spend an afternoon doing my part...

I share a couple copies of my Best of Yo MTV Raps tapes while busting out Black Sheep the Choice is Yours. But that's about it. Screw him if it ain't enough. I let Dolan, Walsh and MDA do all the butt kissing.

If he comes to the Knicks, it will be for all the obvious reasons. And none of those would involve us fans.

He has already stated a number of times how much he respects and appreciates the hoop-interest in NYC and the passion of fans at the Garden. He is a student of the game and knows its history well. He is also extemely interested in media and wants to perfect his ability to manage all of its channels (i.e., music, fashion, culture/reporting, advertising, movies, television, etc.) New York City may no longer be the center of the hoops universe (it is) but NYC is certainly the center of the media universe.

There's no where else big enough to fit his ginormous ego. He needs NYC as much as we need him. He doesn't just want to dominate the NBA, he wants to control everything.

He's coming.

How about we stop bitching and complaining and trying to find fault in any and everything. I swear by the time we Knick fans are done complaining, we can convince ourselves that a painting like this:

Has nothing to do with the past...I'm talking about the people who are tearing down Lebron, despite his two MVP's, I'm talking about people suggesting that Toney Douglas would be a better option than Tony Parker, Bosh is soft, Lee cant do this, Amare cant do that.....With this kind of talk, I'm not sure any off season signing would quiet the fans....

I really don't understand why everyone is all worked up over LeBron. Its not July 1st yet no one knows what his intentions are and frankly people shouldn't be making plans on tickets until he sign with your team. I personally don't believe that LeBron is coming to the Knicks for that matter I don't think he is going to Chicago he is going to stay in Cleveland until proven otherwise, by that I mean signed on the dotted line. Many FAs have flirted with the Knicks in the past only to use the Knicks I don't see why LeBron won't do the same to the Knicks.

Wait for July 1st and everything will be clear by then, until then the media is having a field day with this LeBron thing and we fans should know that the media wants to elicit feed back from the fans negative or positive. I know one thing is for sure LeBron is loving this attention but at the same time he put himself at risk of losing fans in many cities. That is why I truely believe he will be signing back with the Cavs.
