His itinerary is : New York, NJ, Chitown, and then (if he feels it's still necessary) Miami, and last...LA.

Clearly, NY, NJ, CHI are the top three. How can being first be a bad thing? It's a great thing and seems to indicate we are his first (non-Cav) destination in mind. Although, with all the media coverage, it may give Chicago a leg up on their party plans. Still, we will NOT be outdone.

He is going to push his sneakers here first. He only made Miami necessary because of Wade and their plans. If Wade reups then it changes for him and them. LOL @ the LA visit. Has he no shame.

We cannot let LeBron James leave New York without a contract signed.

It's out of your hands. The guy got sneakers to push to kids who can't afford them. You can check out his Net Lebrons at a Footlocker near you.

Really, comemorative sneakers for his free agency "TOUR" visits?

Has anyone discussed "over exposure" to this dude?

These sneakers I hope are not being marketed to kids but to those freaks who work 3 jobs to afford having closetfull of sneakers to define their identity.

How long is this going to take? We can't wait a whole week for LeBron James to make up his mind.

This is why I believe it's either going to be King James and Chris Bosh or David Lee (ugh!), Joe Johnson (ugh!!) and some mediocre player like Mike Miller, Raymond Felton, Tyrus Thomas, Jermaine O'Neal.

He is going to cities not for his intrest in playing but the marketing exposure it creates and raising his brand awareness.

Just hope he does not invest with Trump cuz Trump don't make any money for others.

F-HIM. Its not out of respect or interest but to hawk his shoes. A new Knike signature shoe for every city on the LeDouche f/a tour.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

We need to be making plans like he's not coming. Start revving up plans B thru Z. This tour is a farce and doesn't project the seriousness of a player going to a new team. He could sell sneakers anytime. I don't like this at all.

Isn't the sneaker thing a stupid rumor that has been denied? Why is everyone believing it and getting so venemous?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

It's only a bad thing if we don't go all out and pull out all the necessary stops to impress this guy.

If we impress him enough, we'll be on his mind through that whole tour. If we don't, he'll forget about us as soon as he reaches Jersey.

I would have preferred we go last but I think it's telling that he has us first of all teams.

There are a couple of ways to look at this from Lebron's perspective....

If he hits NYC first -- he can claim he fell in love with NY offer and cancel the rest of the trips
(this allows him to avoid leading on the other teams and having to skate out of town without signing a NJ or CHI deal).

Imagine the stir if the Knicks called a press-conference the afternoon of Lebron's visit -- holy crap the city would ignite.

On the flip side -- he could just be using us like every other mo-fo free agent the last 10 years.

He'll visit the other cities. He's too much of an attention whore not to.

Fans need to stop acting like Lebron isn't familiar with NYC. He's friends with Jay-Z. He's made multiple trips to MSG as a fan of other entertainers. He has I believe at least one office located in the NYC area from his marketing firm. He has friends from NYC. He's a Yankee fan etc etc etc. Basically his visit is going to reflect how many people will be available to wash his balls daily. There isn't a team he visits tat won't promise him the sun and the moon.
