He was talking about the New York Nets. I think he was just mentioned NYC basketball as a whole.

does anyone think of dr j when they think of recruiting for the knicks? we're not pitching roosevelt high or long island here guys.

Bloomberg needs to be specific. NY Knicks NOT Brooklyn Nets. I guess NYC wins either way.

But he's recruiting New York. I think he considers the Nets part of NY since they're moving to Brooklyn. Bloomberg only cares about the city, not the Knicks franchise.
