got this off another forum:

This European website seems to be reporting that Sergio will say adios to the NBA:

First line translation: Sergio Rodriguez has finally decided to end his adventure in the NBA and return to the ACB. The Spanish guard has reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the next two seasons, according to sources for the website "encestando.es"

It's too bad for him that he couldn't put it together in the NBA. I still think he had the skills to develop into a guard that could penetrate and pass well in a system like this one. This may end up being the best thing for his career. He needs playing time to develop the decision making he tends to get wrong. I loved his speed and handle and passing ability, but he needed much more time to get his head right and develop his shot. I wish him good luck in that regard.

I'll add one more note. Recognizing certain skills and raw talents in a player and then making an observation and comparison to a successful player, isn't the same as saying that developing player is anywhere near as good or will be successful in translating those skills into success on the NBA level. How often do we see talent that resembles a proven player and remark that it reminds us of that player, tho the young player may never fully realize that potential. No one should mock that observation as this is done all the time in describing draft prospects. I think we all do this from time to time and it also comes with the caveat that these players must eventually put it all together.

The euro has fallen from $1.2 per Euro to about $ 0.8 per Euro in recent months. That's about a 33.3% decline against the late soon to be unlamented greenback.

Down 1.4 to 1.2... you need 1.2 dollar to get 1 euro, not the contrary ! When the euro came out, it was at 0.8, so no panic ^^
