KT is better for the Knicks than Wallace

Reading the board over the last few days makes it's clear to me that too few people give KT his due. He is the Knicks' second best shooter from 15 to 18, and therefore a real weapon in the pick and roll. He's also their 2nd best defender, excellent one-on-one post defense and an excellent defensive rebounder. He's tough, and he's consistent. I wouldn't trade him for Raweed straight up even if salaries allowed it and Portland was interested.

Man, how many 2's play post defense straight up? The Knicks almost never send double teams to help KT, even when he's going against very tough players. He also plays great help defense. Must lead the league among 2's in drawing charges.

It's true we could use a post-up threat and/or an athletic big man who can jump out of the gym and block some shots. It's also true we could use more youth up front. Don't think Wallace is the guy to give us any of this, and if we're going to trade KT to get it, we better get someone who's his defensive equal.

I can live without Wallace...I dont see him as a player that will bring a team all the way - he would be a nice addition but he isnt the genuine artice. Now if we could pry Webber away from SacTown that would be sweet - however it is virtually impossible.

The fact is, Rasheed is not the post player he was. He's drifting into a jumpshooter, and God knows we have enough of those. Are there any real post up players in the league left besides shaq, duncan and malone? What happened to the "Power" in Power Forward?

Zach, KG, K-mart, Cwebb, Jermaine, Donyell marshall, Zoo Crew, Nene, Yao, Pau Gasol, Elton Brand can all post up.

Shareef can post up but he is kinda soft and undermotivated too.

ok but don't complain when KT picks up a crucial offensive foul late in the 4th quarter and cost us a game.

How come u weren't complaining about H2O when he was missing his shots? Why just bash KT? Atleast KT can do more than jumpshoot.

I bet he wouldn't be doing that on the Knicks. His offensive and defensive assignments will be mainly in the low blocks. He'll adapt to that style again smoothly here IMO.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

sounds like the deal is dead anyway. Portland is rumored to have better deals on the table. Good.. Rashweed is as unmotivated as they come.
