I dont know about everyone else
but you listen to NBA stars to folks advising LBJ to the commissioner and
the NBA analyst and writers of popular network stations and newspapers the
sentiment I seen is WHOLE NBA seems it doesnt mind Lebron James going to
a handful of NBA teams as long as LBJ do not go to the Knickerbockers.

I may be biased but that is way I seen it the last few months even before
CAVs meltdown in playoffs.

What is your sentiments ? Of course I understand us newyork folks are few
of many whom want LBJ here but others outside Knicks interests act like its
poison if LBJ ever decided to become a Knickberbocker & I don't like that
stance !

I was sure LeBron was going back to Cleveland but I am not as sure now after the loss to the Celts and the rumors about Delonte. I also think Walsh must have either been pressured by Dolan to make the McGrady trade or he knew there was a chance the Knicks could get LeBron if they had cap space to bring in another max guy. That being said, I think most analysts feel that if LeBron leaves the Cavs he is going to go to the team that gives him the best chance to win a championship. I don't think the Knicks are that team. The only thing the Knicks have over other teams is the biggest stage to play on. I have read a lot of people speculating that LeBron won't go to Chicago because he doesn't want to play where there is a statue of Jordan outside the arena. I think if he is looking into things that deeply he might consider team ownership when considering where to play. He also is going to look at the coaching situation. I know it has been written that he has a relationship with D'Antoni because he was an assistant on the Olympic team. I also know that he knows defense is what wins in the playoffs and he wants to win a championship. He probably has heard a bit about some of D'Antoni's shennagins this past year from some of the guys that he treated badly. I don't think the media is biased against the Knicks in this situation. I think they are writing and reporting things Knick fans don't want to hear. I hope he comes to NY but if I were to say where he would most likely be next year the Knicks would be third on my list after cleveland and chicago.

This understandable. Everybody who knows bbal hates Dolan and his minions regardless who they are.
The sentiment is - you should build the team by hard work and based on great values not buy success because you have unlimited money supply.
We know this is not black and white. But for people outside NY it is all painted black.
