NY would love this guy.

Of course we got lots of needs moreso SIZE and shotblocking & defending.

But anyone whom compares with my main man Thunder's Russell Westbrook deserves a serious look since he won't be around in round 2.

Isn't he a copy of Douglas? Athletic defensive combo guard.

He is much more athletic than Toney, especially on the defender atheletic end (See the mix)

Toney is real good and can get better but Avery seems to have upside to be as good Or better offensively than Russell Westbrook.

That is saying a ton since Westbrook is better than Douglas right now overall

wrote about this guy a few months ago & didn't get much response... i think he can turn into a Leandro Barbosa type player with more hops... he's got serious athletic ability, just as much as John Wall in many respects... doesn't have Wall's court vision or ballhandle but he's got similar quickness & ability to get to the hole... he's also probably a better on ball defender as well but his shot is still inconsistent.

agreed
Didnt see your post back then mentioning same guy but I'll look it up (thanks)
I feel Knicks have so many needs like Big men.
However if we can get talent since the league seems guard oriented driven

Then Avery is a choice however I know he wont be around when NY picks in 2nd rnd

I used to tell them folks over MSGboard yrs ago That Russell Westbrook was real deal mccoy
since I was big on Ucla guys whom did good at college.

Westbrook woulda been a great Knick and he can only get better to be 'Robin' to Durant's Batman.

We need them type of guards whom can raise their level of play.

It scares me that Texas underachieved by so much with Avery as the lead guard. Aside from that, this guy has all the tools and the wingspan to get my vote of approval if we're talking a bottom of the first round pick.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
