Trybanski Placed on Injured List
Knicks Activate Doleac & Sweetney


NEW YORK, January 10, 2004 - New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that center Michael Doleac and forward Michael Sweetney have been activated from the Injured List.
Doleac, 6-11, 265-pounds, has been activated from the Injured List after missing the last five games with lower back spasms. In 30 games played this season, the five-year NBA veteran has been averaging 4.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 13.7 minutes.

Sweetney, 6-8, 275-pounds, has been activated from the Injured List after missing the last five games with left patella tendinitis. In 11 games played this season, the NBA rookie has been averaging 1.2 points and 5.1 minutes.

Cezary Trybanski, 7-2, 240-pounds, has been placed on the Injured List with left patella tendinitis. The one-year NBA veteran has appeared in one game for New York since being acquired on Jan. 5 from the Phoenix Suns.

The active roster stands at 12, with one on the Injured List.
