Seems to me NJ NETs pg Devon Harris going to be on the block. NJ is gonna win lotto & a crime if they don't as
difficult as it is for this knick fan to state that

NJ Nets already quietly acknowledges they been getting calls from GM teams the last 2 wks regarding Harris availability.

Harris though off & on injured is talent and a proven PG. Knicks should make a mad effort to

do or work a S/T (sign and trade) because David Lee made it known he likes NJ.

We believe the NJ Nets like him and NY cannot afford to let Lee walk for free.

We can pursue C.Bosh separately but its all about talent acquistions and since NY goofed up having #1 NBA draft pick

its the best we can do is use D.Lee as sign and trade especially for teams whom want him and we can get something real

good in return.

Whadda ya think ?

I think Lee is a better player. I think Harris misses about 20 games a year or more and is banged up for another 10.

How about resigning your all star player? Thats what we dumped the picks to do. Get a max guy and resign Lee

I see your point
But the point also is to get a Point (PG)

Look I love D.Lee also fish,
However NY or Lee, or Max signee guy aint going far without a legit PG

Problem I have here is MDA will bring back or want Duhon to play PG with Toney D, I love Toney D but he isnt a PG
PG wins games or directs success. Look out Rondo in Boston.

Knicks havent had a legit PG since Marbury when he decided he was going to play ball. When Marbs decided he was above team
then he had to go.

PG is important building block for any NBA team. Look at the Bulls and look at the Heat.
If Wade had a PG whom can play the hated Heat would of performed better.

Devin Harris had a bad year last year but he's still 27 years old. He was a starter on that Dallas team that went to the Finals in 06. He's lightning quick and a decent passer/playmaker. I could see a David Lee to Jersey for Harris trade. I'm OK with it as long as it doesn't hurt our ability to sign 2 MAX FA's.

WRONG. Do you realize that resigning David Lee means we failed the 2010 plan? It's scary but it's pretty much a given that either a) we'll strike gold and sign LeBron James and Chris Bosh or b) we'll be forced overpay for David Lee, Joe Johnson and sign some mediocre player like Jermaine O'Neal.

Sorry Fish but if we end up this summer with Lee, Johnson and O'Neal, the plan was a bust.
