that has to be the worst all time choke job. The bruins were up 3-0 and nearly finished them off in game 4--were up 3-0 in game 7 and lost

Got to love it. They getting ****y up there in Beantown. This doesn't make up for 2004 but it feels good.

Was rooting for the Bruins. They have not one in over 40 years and I have no problem with them. Not like the Celtics or the Sawx.

They just love thier team as we do and I feel for them. The Philly fan on the other hand is a miserable lot so I'd rather see a philly suffer then a Bostonian.

Man this sucks. Had the Rangers won that ****ing win-and-you're-in game, they could've made the conference finals too

Ugh. Anyway, as someone who is a devout hockey fan, it's not surprising that the 7 and 8 seed made it this far in the tournament. Both have been playing playoff hockey during hte final month of the regular season. At one point there were five teams fighting for the last two spots.

That said, I will be pulling for Montreal in the biggest way possible. I wish Boston and Philadelphia both lost.

yeah, Hockey is all about the hot goalie and team in the playoffs. If a team blooms late in the season and surges to make the tournament then they are dangerous foe for the top seed. 3-0 series combacks are rare but I'd say Hockey has more 3-1 comebacks than basketball or baseball. They do play more series than baseball but 3-0 is a bitch, as is being up 3-0 in that last game. Some little kid was crying on his mother at games end which we laughed at. "Theres no crying in hockey"!

Hockey football and baseball playoffs are closely related in that if you get in--you have an honest chance to win ti all from any position. Basketball its not that way in college and pros--you can ahev Cinderalla runs--but 99% of the time Cinderella doesnt make it to the ball.
