After watching last night's pathetic display of what was suppose to be Steph's homecoming turned out to be some kind surrendering of the coaching duties between Chaney, VG and the fans in attendance.

The warm reception of VG's entrance to the chanting of "Fire Chaney" was surely the agenda for NY's return to the Garden, forgetabout Steph in the house

Was anybody concerned about NY trying to make a basket? I don't think Chaney was out there on the floor. What happen to H20's shooting barrage, looked like the return of Casper to me. And KVH is still trying to hold down the fort....by himself, thank you

More importantly, Rockets last 2 loses came with 68 and 66 points scored per game that made VG look like the same coach in NY. All defense, and no offense.....until last night. Chaney made VG look like some kind of offensive Guru. 50 plus point spread improvement....and on the road!!!!!!!

If Chaney don't come out and say he cheated victory from paying fans and don't blast players for playing poorly, then his time has come.....to resign

Bobby this makes too much sense, if only others saw it this way.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

. . .

Not many observers are giving Chaney that long. Asked for a one-word characterization of Chaney, ESPN analyst Bill Laimbeer, Thomas' former teammate, said: "Toast!"

IMO Chaney will be gone by Monday.

Chaney needs to make a stand all right...

Stand and walk the hell outta MSG for good.

The NY Times said the same thing I did about Chaney getting chopped if we fall to 10 games under .500...

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I just heard Isiah on MSG with Boomer Esiason. Up until now, he always sounded like he was contemplating being the coach starting next season. It's just my impression, and it certainly could be wrong, but he sounded less inclined to coach any time soon, saying he has a "big job."

If he is goiong to replace Chaney with someone other than Malone, that person is going to want at least a three year commitment. I wonder if he is currently in negotiations with an established coach?

...exactly the kinda BUM we Don't Need!! If he was DOING his damn job right in the first place, he wouldn't have to go out like a PUNK like this. Time to put him outta his misery... LMAO

OK Hardcore, you know as well as I do, The Daily News always has those photogenic momements during a feeding frenzy that happens to catch some fans attention....sorry I'm not impressed.

What does impress me is Chaney's patience with the players, fans and media when the constructive criticism [put mildly] starts flying that would send other Gurus reeling for the next available sportscasting position.

And in all fairness, can the players be held accountable? Allan Houston, for one seems to think so: "It's disappointing. You get angry at times. It's disappointing because he's coaching; he's not the one out there playing," Allan Houston said. "We're the ones out there not getting the job done.

Well said, but no cigar Allan, if you mean what you say...take the lead NOW. Chaney, is aware of the present situation, but his [Chaney] intentions to stay is not good enough unless he intends to reveal the winning ways of New York.

Coach, We at crisis management!!!
