I have a feeling this ends up bad for us. Usually a new owner likes to make a splash. Lets hope they dont move that lottery pick for CP3.

I wouldn't worry about these bums until they move to Brooklyn. No player with self respect would sign to play in that dump.

Fortunately, the salary cap will help negate some of that influence. But yeah, this is a guy who likes to party and has no problem bringing banging eastern European hookers, er, I mean companions to take take care of his boys. I imagine if he brought in someone like Sandra Romain or Katja Kassin during a a recruiting trip on his yacht lmao

Jay is a knick fan despite his very small pct in the NETS...I met jay twice, once at the 40/40 club in atlantic city, and once at the garden through a mutual freind, and he made it no secrete he's a knick fan all day...BUT he's also a business man.

LMAO we have all seen Jay and B at knick games the same night the nets play

Is Thorn sticking around? I believe his contract is up but I saw that he is looking to hire a coach before the draft.

What dump, the brand new Prudential Center in Newark?

LOL at Sergio it hasn't sunk in that the Nets have moved out of the Izod Center and are playing in one of the newer arenas in the league.

The Rock is nice. And sure, Newark's got issues but it's like the Cleveland of the New York Metro area. It would be a good transition for him, and closer to Akron too!

And right now I'm watching Avery Johnson, an "ESPN employee", pitch New Jersey as LeBron's best alternative... and subtly himself as the future coach. I could definitely see A-VER-REE Johnson leading a youth movement in the Bricks.

I love New York & New Yorkers because we are so cosmopolitan, but it is funny, we can be real provincial too, which I get from the (often very funny) Jersey & Cleveland slams.

Avery Johnson coaching Lebron in Jersey/brooklyn ....good things comes to those who wait.

Jeff vandummy he's an announcer now like Mike Fratello, coaches figured them out and made their interest in the league vanish.

It's still Newark and it's still Jersey and it's still a sports dump. LOL at bitty41 who refuses to acknowledge the Garden and New York City have a HUGE advantage over lousy Jersey.
