I am in the minority here but hear me out. Don't like necessarily what I am going to say.

Lebron losing and being frustrated doesnt add up to GO TO NEWYORK

Give me one reason solid why ? would LBJ wanna rebuild or wait/guess for Knicks fortunes & I'd love to have LBJ.

Chicago is the known hot rumor cause they got $$cap and can work a deal plus I cant stand Bulls either but they got PG star in making
with Derrick Rose.

Note, Lebron is a smart guy he already states he feels they can overcome 2-3 deficit to come back to Cleveland & take their chances.
Note again Lebron already stated on the record only teams he'd really consider going to would be:

Cleveland - New York - New Jersey - Chicago - Miami - Los Angeles - Dallas (Not necessary in that pecking order)
Chicago, LA and Dallas is appealing to based on the obvious. James already states he loves Phil Jackson whom can
also leave LA and come back to BULLs. Knicks appeared scroooo-ed.

Quoting this article
"Obviously, he could just agree to stay in Cleveland and make 6 years/$125 million, but how competent is his GM? His big move this offseason was getting 40-year-old Shaq, who really doesn't do anything to help the team, and the Cavs are realistically only the 3rd best team in the East still" Especially if its proven out by going down to Celtics game #6 tonite on Boston. What a way for best
record CAVs to go out of the season. At least when CAVs made finals and got swept by SPURs they made finals which seems like long
time ago.

So it would make the most sense for LeBron to go somewhere else.
All in all I been saying if Lebron won or got most of his run with CAVs his journey to Knicks would only be cemented by STARs or
proven talent going their to compete right away.

Well I dont know about you but I've not heard any star whether Wade, Amare or Bosh or elite players state they would go to NY or
trust Knicks management. That is the problem and perception around the league. If you are not going to surround James with bonafide
skill talent LBJ nor any star isn't going there. Dont know whom Walsh or MDA is going to sell LBJ on whome is coming to join him
if NewYork is in running for James services. Knicks are better off if James wins or goes as far as NBA Finals with CAVs team.

Its sad truth and this truth hurts !

I'm going to say this: I would prefer to read a BRIGGS post at this point than yours. That's how bad it's gotten.

BRIGGs ain't a bad poster

what is the issue here ? you tell me

Just because we all want and desire Lebron James or any star which can still come true (hoping)
fact of matter is we all don't know correct ?

So what is your point ? Childs2Dudley
Are you the secretary of state on the forum OR JudgeDredd of anyone's opinion here ?

All this basketball chat is friendly chat which is all that it is

There is no need to ever get personal whether you like OR disagree with BRIGGs post or mine.
I really don't see why you are so worked up over this it makes no sense to me, if you're not hearing what
you wanna here then everyone is %$%$#@##@

That is an immature stance my friend
just an opinion that is all the post statement about LBJ really is

I posted that because you keep writing the same thing over and over. You keep wanting to make a point that LeBron is not coming here. First you said he wasn't coming here if they do well in the playoffs, now you're saying he's not coming here even if they lose. Ok? Why do you need to make countless topics telling us LeBron is not coming when you yourself don't know what the guy is going to do. At least BRIGGS has already stated he doesn't want LeBron James in New York. Are you on that boat too? Do you want LBJ to stay in Cleveland? It's not a problem if you do, but making it a point in every of your posts to say NY has no chance gets a bit repetitive and annoying. What's so hard about waiting less than 2 months to see the outcome?

I got no prob with waiting my friend
But wait
where did I ever say LBJ wasnt coming here if CAVs did well in the playoffs ?
There were 2 sides to that I went on 1 side.

First of all I respect forum posters and I dont come in here to fight
Second most folks I respected says LBJ can leave Cleveland easily and come to our NY Knicks if he lost.
3rd I always maintained I wanted LBJ to come here and you're correct we all dont know what he will do. Does anyone ?

4th the only real thing we know which has little to do Directly with LBJ is Knicks Management and coaching luring NBA talent
or stars to the big apple which I posted about the separate issues of Knicks hierarchy (excluding Donnie Walsh who i like)

All in all you're reading everything about my posts as being fact which we all dont know squat.
I simply said I felt he'd leave CAVs easiest with being a winner of NBA title.

You're putting words in my mouth/posts say I waver OR post same thing again.
Did we all expect CELTs to BEAT Cavs outta playoffs so quickly ? where did any posts come into play for that ?

You jump all over me time and time again but it simply implies to me you either dont like me OR do not give me fair
chance as other posters to say something. I do not get you problem with me. I am a Knick fan. My issue is non-issue
we rely on management to make moves towards building something here. Everything got to work into play here for Knicks
to get better and acquire talent.

There is no problem. I just don't feel like seeing the same thread over and over. You can have your own idea of LeBron. I'm not insulting you for that. I'm not insulting you at all. I'm just saying that these negative topics aren't really helping anything. Again, why can't we just wait till July 1st? I think if they lose we have a better chance at getting him. That's just my opinion. He did say he's all about winning after all and his team hasn't been getting close to a title in the playoffs. Let's hope the Celtics win today so we can discuss this more later tonight.

we'll see what happens Win, Lose or draw tonight

The feeling is we all still want a LBJ or hi-end star, I want that as much as anyone.
We'll see how it pans out nearing July 1. Whether 2010 and/or 2011 NY is in great position $$$ and some improvements are expected
but I reckon we all gotta be patient during Walsh process of getting it done or whomever Walsh brings in as Gm/prez to run things which is another change being discussed in front office.

If LeBron James comes to New York, we are NOT a rebuilding team. Chances are we'll also sign Chris Bosh. LeBron + Bosh + Danilo Gallinari, Toney Douglas and Wilson Chandler plus whatever we get for that slob Eddy Curry will add up to a title contender. I don't get this idea that LeBron is coming here to play by himself.

Lebron will get with his people and they're gonna say pretty much what we've been sayin ... Go with the big city that can and will spend to make sure you win. We may not have a roster of guys waiting, but what we do have is the option to add a stud next to him that he hasn't had a chance to play with, that isn't a ball dominant guard like Chicago and Miami have. We have guys that actually complement him without getting in his way and we'll be able to add more help very quickly due to the expiring Curry contract. This is a good destination when you put everything on the table.

It's funny how the Nets as the good fit is starting to grow among the media. That roster is young and talented and they will get a quality pick out of the draft. A center in Lopez that demands attention in the low post and plays defense. Pretty good wing players and a scoring PG that could be a step up from Mo Williams. Factor in the fact that they have a head coach position which is open so he can bring his pal Calipari back which he already stated that he has unfinished business with the Nets. New owner with extremely deep pockets and a new building coming up in Brooklyn. Should be an interesting summer for Lebron. It's not MSG but it isn't Dolan either.

If Lebron played for the knicks and didn't win big, they would start saying he should have went to college to learn how to win on a big stage other than the reg season.

Lebron is coming. I have said it all along. He has probably already called Bosh and told him to pack his bags for NY.

I think that him not winning creates more room for the possibility that he leaves Clev. but not that he necessarily will join NY. Remember, there are other suitors out there. I do still look up and pray that he does come though. It has been way too long since bball meant anything in this city.
