Lets build the Knicks & play whom would u rather have game ?
Hello good forumers.
This is only for the fun of it. 
Lets have a go at whom would you rather have game ?
Set some simple basic rules.
1) You pick 1 for each selection given and if an elite player is involved then you can only choose
1 elite once for the question. Of course elite and next level below players are subject to opinion.
Its also given that some answers may put 1-2 elites on a team, virtually improbable and impossible but
we're having fun here. 
2) You can give brief 1 line explaination on why ? you feel player you chose is best choice
and if NY Knicks were so fortunate does it fill a gap.
3) Role players are subject to opinion but will not count or be asked here.
4) Some players are mentioned here regardless if of ALLStar status or never was.
5) This will involve some newbies such as rookies, 1st player star or highly rated kid
coming out of NCAA into NBA. I've always felt we need to be in draft & get our own
LBJ, John Wall or Kevin Durant type. (moot point this 2010 nba draft)
However today here is my opinion of current elite players regardless if they have NBA ring or not.
Apologies if I am inaccurate we all believe the big-3 in NBA are Kobe, LBJ and Wade, subjective
opinion solely.
ELITE:
players such as,
Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Lebron James, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce?, Tim Duncan?
Pierce not as good as the big-3 however here I'm giving Pierce and Duncan mention as notch
below here only cause both won NBA title.
Additionally each Duncan and Pierce were dominant when won NBA title over past few yrs.
NEXT LEVEL (or notch below AllStars):
players such as,
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Pao Gasol, Brandon Roy, Chris Bosh, Chauncey Billups, Deron Williams,
Joe Johnson, Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, David Lee, Vince Carter, Chris Paul, Jason Kidd,
Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Rajon Rondo, Russell Westbrook, Andre Iguodala, Aaron Brooks.
ect..

Note this is all for fun & impossible to get any of the big-3
Last question I offer would you rather Knicks have draft selection lotto shot at stud college players
coming into NBA next 3 years ?? (i.e. 2011, 2012 or 2013)
OR would you prefer NY Knicks possibly acquire at least 1 or 2 of Next level nba players such as
mentioned above. (i.e Chris Paul, Dirk Nowitzki, Melo..ect).
Note: I'm defining the draft lotto as any top 1-3 players in country coming into draft after 2010
Finally how does your selections look ? say if hypothetically you can place 10% of your answers
or roughly one to two players of your selections on a knick roster squad between 2010 and 2013.
Keep in mind if Knicks sign or trade for few role players.
Does your selections suffice to fill Knick needs to compete? PG, Shooter (SG or SF),
Defender versatile and Allstar player? Of course whomever coaches Knicks comes into play also.
I believe MDA will be here as Knick coach even to 2013 or whatever his contract says unless
MDA bails out on us (quits).
Here are my selections for the record
Lebron James Or Kobe Bryant ? (Why)
Rather have Kobe Bryant, Lebron may have best upside cause of youth but Kobe is a killer instinct and winner.
Dwight Howard Or Dwayne Wade ? (Why)
Obvious would rather have Dwight Howard, though I think Wade talents are shortchanged cause of team he plays for isnt good Howard learned from Ewing and continues to take his level to
skills greater than Patrick. Howard is also going to control a game when he's not in foul trouble.
Steve Nash Or Rajon Rondo ? (Why)
I love Nash but Rondo has become the best player on Celtics at least this season. I hate Celtics but anyone would want PG Rondo whom would solve Knicks PG issue. I know he isnt going
anywhere!
Pao Gasol Or Chris Bosh ? (Why)
Maybe at start of season I'd pick Bosh but lets get real Gasol is nasty and a winner. He is a tough out I'd pick him as a big to start any 5 man team to build with. I dont even care for Pao
but i'd learn to like him if he were a Knick. 
Kevin Durant Or Paul Pierce ? (Why)
Easy Obvious Durant is the future of NBA. Nothing more need to be said. Sorry Paul, lol
Tim Duncan Or Dirk Nowitzki ? (Why)
I cant say I ever seen a big man shoot, score and can win game like Dirk however I go for the less soft player in Tim. Dirk has more of upside cause of his age but Duncan is Duncan he has to be my choice between the two. Dirk has got tougher over the yrs & is a good guy. But I dont like MAVs or Cuban
Duncan and his old self is my guy. Plus Tim is Carribean nba star ! Irie' bra-dah!
Chris Paul Or Deron Williams ? (Why)
Deron Williams gets better each year. Any of these PG would fill a Knick need. If I had to pick Williams will be the guy and more durable than Paul.
David Lee Or Carlos Boozer ? (Why)
This is a tough one. Both are Tough, Lee better scorer, Boozer better defender. Both great board guys. I like D and Boozer would be my choice.
Joe Johnson Or Brandon Roy ? (Why)
Joe Johnson dissappointed in playoffs. He looked no more normal avg. than 6th man of year Jamaal Crawford. Brandon Roy is whole Blazer team I'd pick him here though JJ still a solid player.
Amare Stoudamire Or Carmelo Antony ? (Why)
I put this two attitude guys together in this question on purpose. Neither impresses me when the heat is on & crunch gets tough. I like to say I'd pass on this but since we have to pick 1 then Amare
would be the pick basically cause he said MDA dont teach defense and Amare knows he needs to do that.
As a Knick fan if likely we're not gonna get any of the big-3 at least this year or next few yrs,
I personally rather have Knicks be in NBA Lotto shot for stud college players coming into NBA.
Regardless of this year 2010 or 2011 FA lists I feel Knicks will sign someone anyhow to join
their team. It will not be an elite player but better than what we have.
Something to build on after 2011.
Once we know what FAs can be signed & whom want to be a Knick
