Kind of spooky to see this lovely girl and top athlete and 6 weeks later read about her murder. I feel awful for the girls team as they are top 5 team and you can tell it was a very close team. Duke has like twice the girls and twice the coaches. Virginia looked like they were having more fun. Mens team has to be angry and hurt for both what this ******* has done and for ruining a special season. These dude are currently No.1. Im sure other players knew or were friends with Yeardly Love and must be hurting as well.
When I read about this story the last thing that even entered into my mind was about how their respective team' season would be affected by this poor girl's murder.
Me too. We were horrified.
WE saw this girl play just a few weeks ago. I saw her because she is on a nationally ranked team. ESPN runs the story because of who they were and where they go to school and are athletes. The thread was started because it is a national story.
When I read your comment it seems your making a public attempt to elevate your values by trying to indict my post as my official position. Your a smart person bitty, but your a bit out of line on this one.
I got children Bitty, a Daughter, and as a parent stuff like this kicks the breath out of you. We sat with the Virginia parents and most likley her's were right there. My thoughts were of those people.
I even have thoughts for HIS parents and what his actions have done to that family. I have a 19 year old son and couldn't imagine if he did somting like this. HIs actions ruined many lives.
DOn't assume your the only one with a heart.
