I'm sick of it. I can't stand to spend another second thinking about and debating hypothetical domino situations. It's been 10 long years since the Knicks were relevant in this town as anything other than the most visible example of management gone terrifically awry. People get lost on long road trips. The Knicks quest for a championship is the road trip equivalent of setting out for LA and going east instead of west. Instead of recognize recognizing they were headed in the wrong direction Dolan and his ever changing, flavor o the day GMs just kept on driving...right into the ocean and blindly plowed ahead even as water started gushing through the windows. The fan base was locked in the trunk.

Come to think of it hardcore NYC hoopheads are probably even sick of eviscerating team management and ownership.

So wake me up at the start of next season. Not on July 1st, at the beginning of free agency. Not during the Nba draft. After every last free agent has signed. After every offseason trade and draf pick has been finished, THATS when I'll come up and see if we're on course or tryin to become the first car to drive from ny to la through Europe and Asia. But be warned I may hop out of the car in Europe and just give in to soccer.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

You're not the only one.

Everybody needs some time...on their own.
Nothing lasts forever, and we both know hearts can change.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

The Knicks have been so bad that I kind of look forward to their off season. It is the best time to be a Knicks fan over the last 10 years. This year we are actually writing about things that has posibility to happen as opposed to the last 10 years when we use to dream about things happening. All I can say is enjoy this year and hope for the best.

Kam...haha..

we've been through this such a long long time
just tryna kill the pain

i'm probably just talking **** and i'll be back on these boards tomorrow talking about signing CJ Watson and David Lee and saving the rest of the $ for Melo. FML right?

I'm with you man. If we end up signing JJ for the max and a bunch of crap for the rest of the cap money, I'll be in Europe with you. I hate soccer, but maybe I'll take up Bacci or something.

Enjoy it. We may never have a summer like this in our lifetime. It's not every year you have $35M in cap space to spend on players like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire, ect. Enjoy it! July 1st is going to be crazy! I've already taken that first week of July off from work cause I know I'll be glued to the Net, radio and ESPN 24 hours a day until we sign somebody!

KNick off seasons are more fun than the games themselves.

Typical "I've had it" threads are great.

Wonderful "declarations of emotional detachment" are the best.

I wonder how long Bonnies exile will last. I wonder if his dogs attacked him?

I think I would enjoy it more if we hadn't already discussed it to death over the last 2 seasons.

I can't blame anyone on this board really. When the product ON the court is so crappy what can we do but look ahead to better days?

But you can really only read so many of these types of threads before you go absolutely nuts:

- David Lee sucks/is the greatest thing since slice bread threads before you go crazy.
- Joe Johnson is not worth the max/is worth the max
- Dammit we shoulda kept Crawford and Randolph
- Donnie Walsh better sign Wade and Lebron or the Jordan Hill trade screwed us
etc, etc

I think if the Knicks were at least..OK..during the regular season we wouldn't have beat these topics to death already.

AH well.

Anyone catch that Suns-Spurs game last night. The Suns seem a whole lot more resilient this season (or the Spurs are just getting old). Everytime the Spurs pulled even or close to it they just turned it on.

I have a TON of respect for the way the Spurs run their team. Love the stability in coaching which to me is great because players know that THEY are a lot more expendable than Pop is. Can you even imagine someone like Ariza or Nate complaining about minutes or playing styles or whatever on that team?

At the same time I think the refs and the NBA disciplinary committee absolutely bent the Suns over for that Horry hip check where they lost the series so..I'm rooting for the Suns and for Nash to win. San Antonio had absolutely no answer for the simple Nash/Amare pick n roll down the stretch.

NO doubt the redundant conversations are perpetuated. Its usually just a few dudes going at it who may have missed last months "Dlee value debate". Looks like thread count is low as there are few issues.

Then Arizona chimes in with a new law and enter "Bitty" to help us out.........

Don't forget the issue of MDA's handling of personnel.

Ha. There was actually a good article on MDA's phoenix days on the main site. Some in phoenix argue that MDA doesn't develop draft picks..which has been said here as well. But the author of the rebuttal made a great point. There weren't that many good young guys in Phoenix to develop and guys like Barbosa, Diaw, and Joe Johnson blossomed or had their career years under MDA.

Another good point. The Suns sold draft picks that became Rudy Fernandez, Rajon Rondo, Nate Robinson, Sergio Rodriguez, and Loul Deng. These were mainly, from what I remember, not picks traded for basketball reasons (to get rid of bad contracts or aquire stars) but for financial reasons. That is kinda sad. Phoenix came so close to going to the finals and I think even with just Rudy, Rondo, and Deng they woulda been DEEEEEEP.

At least Dolan has never made harmful basketbal decisions just to save himself some $. So I'm grateful for that...

While I would not bode well for internet threads, a signing like the Snickerdoodle Meister (frye) that is low cost and low risk adds value by putting the right player in the right system. LIkewise DLee might be overvalued in the wrong system. Gm's know this so DLee is not a max player even by his own admission.

Los Sol is on a collison course to meet up with the Lakes and with an unsigned Amare really motivated Los Sol can give them a run for the money.

Amare looks all-world since the trade deadline and perhaps promised another max deal if certain games could be won. I don'g trust Amare. He is at the peak of his career RIGHT NOW. MDA knows this dude and what makes him tick.

Interesting article on the diff between Gentry and MDA

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Avw3RdM3xgzdL7mpR_iMU6S8vLYF?slug=jy-suns050610

For the record I would love to see Orlando upset Cleveland. Lebron to sulk off the floor again without shaking anyone's hand again.

Would love to see a Magic-Suns final.

Howard vs. Amare
Nash vs. the world

Orland 3 point shooters vs. Phoenix 3 pt shooters
