Sergio and MDA *barely* make the keep em list.

I'm in a 100% agreement that Lee, Chandler, Douglas, Walker and Gallo are the pieces to add to. I would give Giddens a longer look to.

Interesting that clearly fans are either happy w/ Walsh gutting the team or they just think he should be around through this summer to see what he does

It needed change--he did what he could. Im sure that he would have been happier if he brought Stpeh Curry to NY but it didn't happen. From the tea leaves you haev to believe that NY had opportunity to get him and didnt. If we had him---I think we'd be in much better position.

I can't wait to see how MDA does coaching guys that give a crap. This team was so full of guys out for self and not really buying in. Then you have the lack of a floor leader or star to ground the team and it's a recipe for making a coach look bad. No coach can do a single thing with guys that aren't self motivated or have any pride in how they play. You give any top coach a bunch of dogs and he's gonna look like he can't coach.

nix - what if walsh strikes out and doesnt add any worthwhile stars this offseason - it can happen afterall....does dantoni get another pass until next season if the guys the knicks do get dont perform again? im not reacting one way or another, just curious to know what you think about that.

Hmm... Curry and Giddens getting a lot of hate there. In his limited play Giddens managed to turn fans against him somehow. Interesting enough where does Big Al stand with the fans?

its magnified because we blew the Hill pick.

Bottom line is next year the roster will be Walsh/MDA guys from top to bottom. With the exception of Eddie who will hang around sulking with a strained something or other until his expiring deal yields us a good deadline player.

I think it's easier for defensive coaches to win with less talent, for instance the bucks. not saying they would be a very good team just better then an offensive team with that little talent. But those teams only last so long in the playoffs against good offensive teams, for example the cats getting swept easily by Orlando.

Masgov once ran a marathon backwards to see what second place looked like...
